32GB Playstation Vita Memory Card $72 on Amazon

althought my 4gb is running out of space. I'll pass.
I haven't tried yet, but can you use multiple 4gb memory card on one vita? I know each memory card is tied to a psn acc, but I'm guessing you can use multiple cards. I ask because i bought mine used with a couple 4gb cards extra. =/

I have two 16 Gigs at the moment (selling one off to a friend) and switching seemed like it works fine when I tested it, but not having certain files updated on both at the same time was annoying.

Hopefully that will be fixed with the PS+ cloud patch, but I'll stick to one card for convenience and snag a 32 GB when it's at a price like earvcunanan suggested.

wait till it's 50 so I can fight people at best buy on black friday. My body is reggie for a discount fight.

I am getting 1, I'm tired of having too erase and copy/re download all my digital psp games.............and with the new vita update I have tons of psone RPGs that I don't want too be making room for. Thanks op.
I think you guys are overly optimistic thinking this is going to drop down to $50.
On Black Friday or from Amazon Used it will by this holiday season.

Probably this since they're already $61.xx used at Amazon Warehouse when they pop up.

why would it drop 50%? only possible if sony announced a bigger card.

I don't know if I am happy with being an early adopter glad I just got my system and a 32 GB card and got it out of the way though. I don't think I will ever sell my vita like I did my psp. It is way cooler if only I can get a good multiplayer game though Gravity Rush and Uncharted were real fun though and so was Mortal Kombat even though i already had it on PS3.

Got it, thanks again op. 72 ain't cheap but the convinience of having not too swap games on a 4 gb makes me happy. Now I'll be able too fit all my digital RPGs ff7, ff8(buggy), ff9, legend dragoon etc good games.

Why did games that came out less than a month before Black Friday show up as 50% off that day. On Black Friday, anything can happen.

Those are games. It is not like you see controllers 50% off on black friday

Guess you didn't shop on Black Friday last year.

360 250GB w/ Fable 3 and Halo Reach $200: http://bfads.net/Best-Buy-Black-Friday-Xbox-360-250GB-Console-Bundle-with-Fable-III-and-Halo-Reach
PS3 160GB Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One & LBP2 $200: http://bfads.net/Walmart-Black-Friday-Playstation-3-160GB-Console-with-Bonus-Link
360 Wireless Controller $40: http://bfads.net/Best-Buy-Black-Friday-Microsoft-Xbox-360-Wireless-Controller
PS3 Wireless Controller $35: http://bfads.net/Kmart-Black-Friday-Sony-PS3-DualShock3-Wireless-Controller

PS3 Move Controller $25: http://bfads.net/Best-Buy-Black-Friday-PS3-Move-Motion-Controller
PS3 Move Charging Station: http://bfads.net/Best-Buy-Black-Friday-Sony-PlayStation-Move-Charging-Station-for-PlayStation-3

Just to name a few. Most of these are 33%+ off too.

Also, some Walmarts were selling PS3 Controller bundles w/ games (LBP2, GoW, R&C) for $30 which is more than a 50% savings.

I really wouldn't be surprised to see an official price drop on the memory cards along with a Black Friday deal making the 32GB $50. No point in getting it now, might as well wait.

Those controllers are not 50% off. Games are not the same as accessories, but if you want to wait 3 months for the slight possibility of saving $22, more power to you.

Did not say those were 50%, said most of them are 33%+ off. And no, Mr. Obvious, games are not the same but for years now we have seen amazing deals on both. Scoring a 360 that is worth $370 for $200 on Black Friday is one of those amazing deals. Everything Vita is already dropping in price without Sony making anything official. I'm sure by Black Friday, like years past, we will find amazing deals... 32GB for $50 being one of them. But who knows, it might only be $60 :)

I'll actually be waiting 3 months at saving money on a lot of things related to the Vita on Black Friday.

1. Bundles that will most likely include 2 games and an 8GB which I'll most likely sell. If the deal isn't $200 than I'm going on eBay to get a Vita. They are selling for $130 on eBay now (if you're lucky) between $160 so depends on the bundles.
2. Memory cards will most likely all be 50% off. Heck even some sites and stores now have random deals selling the 4 and 8GB for 50% off.
3. Most of the games will be $10 or less. Most of the launch games are $20 MSRP too.

I'm sure I'll save about $150 on the Vita on Black Friday instead of getting stuff now.

Hmmm... Can't make up my mind about this. I need more space, but I'd rather just buy more games than spend the money on a memory card... I dunno. Almost got one the other day, but changed my mind.

You guys should check more often. I ordered a 32gb vita card on the 27th for $47 shipped, brand new. I was a bit skeptical but it arrived today. It was from a 3rd party seller but legit nonetheless.

Thanks for sharing.
still too much for a 32gb mem card..sony is way too greedy...
The PS Vita is the first system I haven't pre-ordered and bought since the Nintendo 64 came out. When I found out they went with a proprietary memory card format and how much they decided to gouge for them, I completely lost interest. You can buy a 32G SD card for less than $20. That is what the Vita memory cards should be going for. If they drop to a comparable price with SD cards, then I'll look at buying a Vita.

Yes you do! Besides, the Vita memory cards have more markup than a disc based game. Dropping it 50% or more is easy for Sony if they want to promote Vita during the holidays.
Vita is a phenomenal system.

Picked up a 32gb new for about $65 shipping

Scooped another for $55 used from gohastings
I think the vita is awesome too! I never thaught about gohastings, I would have loved to get one for 55 oh well but hey for those that don't do the camping for black Friday 72 is a great price.

I agree. I can't accept paying this much for memory.

Right, but they are way more likely to lower the price of the least popular 4 or 8gb card first.

I really believe these memory cards are high because of Worksmanship and stability.

These things hold VITA games not Nintendo DS or 3DS.

Vita games are usually 3gb plus and The majority support some form of Multi-player. Common is 2-8 players. Nobody wants a wonky memory card that will fail or corrupt on you.

Would you buy a PS3 with Bootleg memory?

People for years let Microsoft gouge the fuck out of them for years and still do.

But Death to Sony! Even though they have a Semi-Plausible reason for what they are doing.

Then you must have been really upset when Nintendo came out with their proprietary expansion memory for the N64 that was required on many later titles.

Must be nice to be on Sony's payroll. I think this is one of the dumbest things I've ever read. Do you really think their proprietary media is better than loading up on sd cards from a reliable manufacturer? Or that the cards Nintendo uses are substandard? Come on, dude.
Ugh, just bought one of these for $81 (price matched at Fry's) a few days ago.
When you price match at Fry's, you still have to pay tax on it, right?

Yea , there are microSDHC cards that are way faster than the PS Vita's propriety flash card and they are built to last a long time as well.

The expensive price is mainly because they made a new card format. SD cards are much cheaper, because they are older and more popular. The price should go down a little bit when they allow 3rd party companies to make the memory cards.

From what I've heard, the reason for the new format is that they were concerned that using a more popular format would lead to the system getting hacked a lot faster/easier.

It really doesn't matter what's on a memory card, it can hold up as much space as it was made to hold. It's just as easy to make a Vita memory card as it is to make a SDCard.

Also, what does this have to do with Microsoft, they don't make many accessories apart from the 360 HDD's which were high but most of them came with a 360 so it wasn't as much of a big deal.
