My UCS Slave I fell from a high shelf and broke into pieces so looks like I have an unexpected project this weekend

Also I had no idea that GameStop sold LEGO online. Lots of clearance prices on Harry Potter and Hidden Side sets - which you can have price matched at Target
So far I scored Beauxbatons carriage for $15, will be hunting for some others later

Good idea man. Thanks!

After about 20 good offer up buys I finally had a guy rip me off. "Sealed" batman set was missing about 75 percent of the pieces lol. At least I only paid 5 bucks for it.

Lucky!  You've got some lazy Target employees...they shouldn't price match items that are out of stock.

Not much left at Target to price match either!

Targets around me are slowly getting product in, they have the white stickers on them since they are apparently from the UK
Yeah the guy at the second target looked long and hard at my phone and his little scanner before he matched the bus
The first one I did for Beauxbatons carriage at a different target didn’t even hesitate, just told me I didn’t have to come to customer service to do it

Is that what those stickers are, I got one from target.com and was a little dumbfounded.

Yeah I had noticed it the past couple months and saw the explanation on an AFOL Facebook group I’m on the other day

That explains why the Porsche 911 RSR I got from Target had stickers on the box!

My son cleaned his room this past weekend and found a box of Bionicle parts and pieces, no instructions so I am not sure what is complete or not and have no idea how Bionicle is priced on the secondary market. I know there are always some Bionicle fans in here so if anyone is interested shoot me a pm and we can work out a deal

Liking that Hedwig set that comes out in September, looks like a LEGO store / B&N Exclusive ... $39.99 seems reasonable.

Just cancelled a few discounted LEGO orders from Walmart ... spending too much on toys in uncertain times. Granted, I couldn’t resist the Jurassic World Dino Mech set on sale for $62 from B&N ... that set got surpassingly hard to find under msrp really fast.

Well, I see you guys permanently scared off biggdaddy after the fight a few weeks ago ;-p

Does anyone know if the larger, great white-esque shark coming out in the Ocean Exploration Ship set (60266) is new and/or exclusive to that set? I really want the shark but could take or leave the boat ... also want it for less than $150. Any older sets I could snag it in?

I know this has been asked before but I'm lazy and don't feel like searching the thread: What's the best way to sell sets?  I'm mostly going to be selling some used stuff.  Thanks!

Ebay will generally get you the most money but it can be a hassle and fees suck. I never used bricklink so I can't speak on it. You could always post your list on here, too.

Prices tend to be higher on Amazon for selling sets, however their cut feels like it keeps increasing. Ebay is sort of deceptive, or at least they used to be, because they would take a seller fee and then there was a Paypal fee as well. I should really know if that’s still the case since I have some old stuff listed on there currently, but I’m not sure if the fees are as bad as they used to be.

The biggest challenge with selling LEGO online is actually shipping the larger, more expensive sets. You can easily find yourself paying $20+ on large sets ... plus you have to find a box that will fit and make sure the set isn’t going to be damaged.

If you can sell locally (FB market place, Craigslist, Next Door), you will save a ton on fees, shipping, scams and picky customers. Selling on here is also safer, as was mentioned.

I've largely been selling on FB the last couple months. Shipping is a hassle, like ectrane said, gotta find a box to fit the sets and shipping can be pricey

I saw on USPS website they have flat rate boxes that are sized for shipping board games. I haven't seen them at the post office but I was thinking that those could be a possible option. Shipping prices are still crazy high though

You can get them shipped to you for free in a pack of 10 or something.

I managed to see some at a store I went into, and they gave me the two they happened to have laying around. They're not particularly wide, but they're long.

Thanks all.  I've done the ebay route before but wasn't sure I wanted to put that much effort into it.  I'll probably try some of the local options since nothing I'm looking to unload is worth the extra hassle.

Of course I'm probably going to end up funneling any money I make there into the NES set that's been leaked this morning.

Are you using Pirateship? It's the cheapest I've seen for shipping.

I just go with USPS
I’ll have to go down to the post office to see if I can track down some of those long boxes. I had to buy a new tv this weekend so need to sell some more sets to offset the cost

The NES is listed on Lego.com https://www.lego.com...nt-system-71374

$299.99 for 2646 pcs. Was briefly listed at $199.99 but I guess that was an error.

Whoops. I may have fat-fingered or mis-read. $229.99 makes sense.

Ugh ... I need to break this LEGO addiction, this isn’t the time to be dropping $200+ here and there ... and yet I’m still tempted. Already placed a back order for Barracuda Bay ... and there are so many other sets I want, but it’s just getting crazy and LEGO pricing seems to be getting worse and worse. 😑

Was able to get the Viking and Knight from the Minifigure Series 20. The Viking is the best version yet with a great helmet. The Knight has a new sword with a fuller. It's my favorite sword they've made yet.

You can order the long boxes from USPS.com and have them sent to your house for free. Save yourself a trip to the post office

The long boxes haven’t really been big enough for the larger sets, at least that’s been my experience
