I had some credit as Play-Asia and thought I pass this along.

You can purchase a retail version of New Little King's Story for Vita in English and Region Free from Play-Asia.

New Little King's Story $44.99
There is also free shipping with the purchase.

I was not going to pay $39.99 for a digital release and but I am glad to support and import the retail version.

i did the same exact thing. if it would have been $19.99/$29.99 or something for the digital release I would have probably gotten it.

I still don't want to support the DD route from Sony until both digital Vita game prices get cheaper, in addition to the cost of the memory sticks. With games being about 1gb each, your mileage doesn't go far unless you get a 32gb stick.

Forgive the dumb question but I don't have a Vita yet. Would you need to switch accounts to play this on a US Vita? Or could I play and get trophies for this on a US system?
They also have it on Zavvi.com. Is the Vita region locked?
nope it's not at all.

i love that so much. :bouncy:

Yes, region free! Sadly its the same price on Zavvi after conversion. Was hoping for a discount, but nope!

Don't like the idea of spending $40 for DD when you have to factor in the cost of Vita storage space! My 8GB is full.

I disagree.

I got Army Corps of Hell, Disgaea 3, Blazblue, New Little King Story, MJ the experience, Sumioni, Stardrone, Mutant Blob Attacks, Motorstorm, both WipEout DLC packs, patches / misc DLC, my trophy collection and only lost 9 total GB. When you consider Blazblue is a WHOPPING 3.33 GB and I've had my memory card since the FEB first released. With over 19 gb of space left, I think I am getting some good milage. Esp since Blazblue is an easy 3.33 gb I can get back at any time.

I'd of run out of space a long time ago with just 32gb, unfortunately. My 8gb is pretty much maxed out with just the PSN games
So we're not getting a cartridge of this in the US?
No, its digital only in the US. Which again, I wouldn't mind if storage were cheaper to buy. I think the only thing you wouldn't be able to access with this is if it were to have DLC. Unless you account is specifically set up in the region that the DLC came from.

Man, I want this game so much; but I also refuse to pay $40 + shipping for it, digital or otherwise. Such bullsh*t that we didn't get a physical release of it in the states...

Oh well, my backlog is such that I can just wait out a price drop on the PSN version or import a physical copy when it's on sale.
I'd jump on that too if Sony wasn't doing the "spend $100 get $20 back" promo.
oh i forgot about that. hmm might end up picking it up off digital.

I don't understand why they didn't do at least a Limited Edition only physical release. They could charge more and it would probably have sold out. VLR with the bonus watch sold out, the DJ whatever it's called sold out and PS4 The Golden sold out.

Damn this is a tough choice. 20 PSN offer and its always available on my memory card or pay a little extra for a box and a game card...dammit!

Is this the same, official translation that the PSN version has? They don't do a dumbed down version on the Asian market editions?

Got the DD. Great game! Was very pleasantly surprised.
Plus I like the DD version since I can swap games easily without changing catridges.
Definitely recommend for those in doubt. Beginning is slow but it picks up quick.

Physical copies are nice and all, but I don't see the point of them with Vita releases. Tiny case with no instruction manual.

Never played the first one, but I have it on the Wii. Cool that it got a sequel, though.

When Sony plugs the plug on being to download it digitally. They won't support the vita forever.

I'll wait till I can import the physical copy cheaper. Don't know why anyone would buy a digital version for $40. Even if you got $20 off $100 it would still make it $32 in the end.

I ordered this from Play Asia yesterday. To me, paying 5 bucks more for the case and cartridge is well worth it than having it as DD. I couldn't justify paying $40 for DD.
