I've got a question for you and since it's not appropriate material for starting a thread according to the rules, I'll just ask in here. I'm doing an Extra Life event.

Here's the facebook page about the event: https://www.facebook.com/events/171368976327406/

Here's the link to our Extra Life team: http://www.extra-life.org/index.cfm?fuseaction=donorDrive.team&teamID=8302

We are not just doing a join fundraiser, but we're hosting an event. We're expecting 100 people. Dinner is sponsored by Panda Express. Drinks are from Pepsi. We have prizes and silent auction items from 343 industries, PopCap, Atlus, Harmonix, Ubisoft, Sega, Halfbrick, Wizards of the Coast and more.

My problem is, I need to entertain 100 people at this event.

Here's a list of everything we currently have committed as far as consoles, games, hardware like monitors, and board and card games. I'm updating it as I get stuff.

CAG doesn't want people begging for freebies, but we could really, really use donations of games. As a Microsoft Xbox MVP, I've pretty much got Xbox 360 stuff covered, but we're woefully short on NES, SNES, Genesis, PS1 and, strangely enough, original Xbox stuff. I've been trying to hit yard sales and eBay, but people think their stuff is worth way more than it is. For instance, today I got a SNES Super Mario All Stars/Super Mario World for seven bucks, which is great, but the guy wanted the same seven bucks for NBA 94 or whatever it was. It's not worth the plastic it's made from.

I have to really hand it to 343. They sent me a Series 1 Halo Ghost toy signed by the entire 343 team, AND... they sent me two sealed Kinect Development Kits, which I don't have any idea what those are worth (or how to sell them to raise funds), but I'm thinking close to a thousand dollars each. They're double sealed with serial numbers on them so I don't want to open them to see the contents. I'm assuming it's not just the Kinect for Windows (val. $250) plus the SDK (free) but it's actually special Kinect hardware. Besides "make a Kinect game" what do I do with something like that?
