Since Steam's not Canada only and can't be hoarded, I usually get my info from the regular CAG forum, or RFD.

That being said, I don't think this forum is busy enough that anyone would complain if you posted Steam deals.
I'm just wondering aloud here, how many PC CAGs there are, here in Canada?

I ask because I'd like to know whether or not to post Steam deals... Maybe the PC gamers are a very small portion of users and we all check into Steam (and GOG, and greenmangaming) constantly, so it need not be posted?

You can count me in as a PC CaG, reluctantly. I got a sweet gaming laptop for my birthday so I'm tentatively trying to recapture my roots as a pc gamer, but my console love runs deep.

I would appreciate seeing steam deals posted.

;D No offense, Canada. I love your healthcare and education systems.

I pretty much check Steam daily for the deals and I'm sure other PC gamers do as well. You'd be better off posting deals from other sites like GoG, GMG, Amazon, etc. Better yet we could have a dedicated thread for PC deals that combines all the different website deals into one.

Like mrsamsa said, this place isn't busy enough so no one will mind.

GreenManGaming has a huge sale on horror games, and can be combined with the 20% coupon you see on the main page to make it even cheaper. There's way too many on sale and I'm too lazy to list them, head on over to www.greenmangaming.com, most of them activate on Steam as well (just read the description)

I'm not sure I know what you're talking aboot, eh? Our Health Care is the tops, minus the wait times, but Education System, I would firmly disagree.

Anywhore, I don't know about taking on PC deals personally, because the only one I check routinely is Steam. >.< Speaking of which:

http://store.steampowered.com/app/202170/
Sleeping Dogs - $25 (50% off)

http://store.steampowered.com/app/24240/?snr=1_7_7_204_150_1
PAYDAY: The Heist - $5 (75% off)

I don't see any use for a thread directed at Canadians, since we have no Canada-exclusive deals. It'd just be a duplication of info from the other threads. I wouldn't stop/discourage anyone from doing this, but I think it's a bit of a waste of effort.

I only check the Canadian forums, so it definitely benefits me.

As mentioned in many threads before this one, many of us bookmark Canada forum's main page and use that. Rarely do we venture out to other subforums.

And did you know Cheapassgamer has a main page? o_O

I mean in terms of pricing. I went to the University of Maine (and Maine is Quebec light, basically) and had to pay $30,000 per year. Annual tuition for l'Universite de Montreal for Quebecoise is $1,700. :(

Same here, only forum I come to here

80% off and higher posts would be appreciated...sometimes I lose interest checking the sale section in steam when it's 10+ pages long. 75% off and lower sales are common as dirt.

for those new to Green Man Gaming, they consistently have the best preorder and new game deals for steam works stuff.

right now Borderlands 2 is 40$, and there's a 20% off code (that won't work on BL2) but will for the season pass. So, you get the game and 4 DLC for 64$, 4$ more than retail (unfortunately you miss out on the free mechromancer that preorders got.
That was quick! I have a giant back log (I like to call it steamlog), but is this game worth skipping the queue?
I finished it on 360. Story was ok, but fairly predictable. Combat was pretty solid. Interesting game mechanics. I'd reccomend it for this price.

I'm super intrigued by Sleeping dogs, but my pc is at the point where unless it's unreal 3 powered I'm not sure how it will run.

Alpha Protocol ~ $4.99 (75% off)
http://store.steampowered.com/app/34010/

I own this on 360. I started it. Got a couple missions in, then into this bug that locked me into a room or made it impossible for me to progress, and I never went back to it... It's a very polarizing game, even without bugs. I remember it being an RPG, where you were supposed to be able to choose how you played (Deus Ex-like), but then things like a terrible cover system essentially forced you to play it as a third person shooter... It's an Obsidian game, so take from that what you will.

Both my wife and I played it on 360 and loved it. What Booyakz says about bugs is 100% true, but if you can get through that, it has some amazing things to offer. It has a dialogue system similar to Mass Effect, but every dialogue choice has a limited time to answer, so you can't mull over your decisions. The game gives you actual choices that will genuinely effect the course of the game, including killing or alienating NPC's that could otherwise aid you later on. Even the order in which you decide to tackle missions will affect how the game plays out.

It is similar to Deus Ex, with considerably less technical savvy, including the problem of allowing you to play stealthily throughout most of it, but throwing you into a brutal boss battle that will cripple a stealth based character.

I would highly reccomend this, despite the bugs, for $4.99. It's worth it for multiple playthroughs!

I do believe you just sold me on that game, once again. ^.^ Once this holiday insanity calms down, I think I'll head back to it. =)

Hey CoachHines, many thanks for adding GameFly and GamersGate!

Just one request, if and/or when you update, mind replying so this thread gets bumped to the top? Just so we all know there's been an update. Thanks again! ^.^

I didn't add that lol, someone else did. I only edited the Alpha Protocol daily deal but I'll keep that in mind for the future.

That Assassin's Creed collection at $19.99 is an awesome package for someone like me who never played that series (being a Nintendo fanboy) and always wanted to. This is a sign! ^^

Indie Gala X

Pay what you want, or beat the average (5.20 at time of writing) and get 9 games (I don't know what the games are about). There's 3 more secret ones for a total of 12 and many of them are Steam keys.

I bought in on Indie Gala X. Lead and Gold I'm actually interested in. The rest is just gravy. =)

I tried Lead & Gold on a free weekend. It was cool, but didn't have enough players.

Very very strange, IMO, but the average on Indie Gala X went DOWN by $0.10. Super strange.

Steam and GamersGate updated.
Guild Wars 2 is $45 on GreenManGaming but I can't confirm if the 20% code works with it because the site keeps crashing (most likely not)
Looks like it's out of stock again. From my experience with GMG though, the code probably would have worked. Usually, they work for anything even if it's a pre-order, new release or something already on sale.

Sleeping Dogs is $25 on GreenManGaming AND you can get either $4 cash back or $6 credit. (effectively $21 if you do cashback). Also includes the Triad Enforcer Pack - New weapons, outfit and vehicle along with two all new Triad missions.

Hitman Absolution Professional Edition preorder is $45 and includes $7 cash back or $10 credit (Effectively $38 if you do cashback)

Also, the 20% coupon is now expired, hence all the new deals.

Late Update. >.<

Definitely agree about Rayman, I picked it up for $10 on 360. Simply gorgeous game, and FAR surpasses the New Super Mario Bros. titles, in all aspects. Including difficulty. It gets so bloody hard...

FYI You can get Walking Dead for under $13 at Gamersgate with the IGN Prime discount right now. I want it but I'll wait for all 5 episodes to come out first.

Darksiders 2 is gonna be 16.99 on Amazon Today, season pass $6.79. You can't buy it from Canada unless there's a VPN trick or something, but you can get a friend to buy it and give you the code.

I found the game pretty disappointing, just sayin.

They also have Prototype 1+2+DLC for $9.99 this week, but I passed on this deal due to reports that they run like ass on PC, very hit and miss.

GMG Free game - Earth 2160 - available until 12:00 GMT, Nov 14 (too lazy to convert)

Also, aside from the 35% off code for Borderlands 2, X-com and Chivalry that was posted by seed84, there's also a 25% off code for everything else:
GMG25-UAAHK-6AI9S

Edit: Lol, now that I look back on my posts, this code is the exact same as the one I mentioned earlier.
