Buy a Vita, get 4 GB card and LittleBigPlanet free at Amazon

Nice, since that is a must-buy game when I do get a Vita this is tempting. If only that were an 8 or 16GB card then I'd probably do it for sure. I'll have to think about it otherwise. I'm in no huge hurry to get a Vita so probably I should hold off and see what comes down the pike around Black Friday and pre-Christmas. Still, given that this is the game I'd want day 1 with my Vita...

It takes LBP and memory card off once you get to checkout without the other stuff it mentions. Seems out of place. At any rate, deal is currently working as mentioned in this thread.

Well, yeah, I figured. I just thought it was funny someone at Amazon did a copy and paste job and didn't clean it up.

yeah would prefer a second generation system so they can further refine the system. The first 3g version I got (ended up returning) completely froze on me, and I couldn't even get it to power back on for several hours.

Im just waiting for someone to offer a decent deal on the vita, they always offer games that i dont want

The single biggest issue I have with the Vita.

If Sony wants to make them proprietary, fine, go ahead, just don't forget that people expect to pay $1 per gig.
So if you can't hit that number, go ahead an allow SD cards for memory.
If they are really worried about piracy, then sell some kind of required adapter that you buy once.

Prices that violently sexually assault you.....interesting.

Well, it is an extreme statement but when you require a memory card but make everyone buy your 200% marked up one, then it would be nice if Sony would at least buy me dinner first.

I've still got my original 3g/WiFi version and haven't had any problems with it at all in a while. It use to crash ever so often if I left it on in the case or in the bed (I think it was overheating) but there's been a number of system updates and it's very stable now even when I leave it on with a game running in sleep mode.
