Sins of a Solar Empire: Trinity $4.99 and Demigod $2.49 from Stardock

Stardock is one company I will never give my money to in any fashion. Their CEO is a douche of the highest order - yeah, a lot of game company CEOs are, but this guy takes the cake.

This guy completely rubs me the wrong way. Liberal or conservative, if you want to sell me something, shut your yapper about politics.

My own thoughts are, looking at the stock market over the last four years, Obama is horrible at being a socialist.

From what I've found: sexual harassment, then blaming the faulty launch of a game on the woman who just so happens to be bringing him to court for said sexual harassment. (http://www.shacknews.com/article/75667/stardock-ceo-embroiled-in-sexual-harassment-suit) (they mention in this article he says it wouldn't be a great game had she stayed, relevant for next part)

Then he lashes out on community for pre launch criticism for Elemental (http://www.joystiq.com/2010/08/25/stardock-ceo-apologizes-for-lashing-out-over-elemental-pre-launc/). He says it is a "great project" (even tho he said it wouldn't have been great)

I'm sure there are other things, those are just the main things from google.

Looks to me that he said some stupid shit then this woman deleted a bunch of data in retaliation, quit the company, then filed a lawsuit against him. What really happened and who's at fault a court can decide, but let me ask you this..

What does that have to do with a sale on Sins of a Solar Empire and Demigod?

Agreed. If people want to be a radical spokespersons for their political view, then I'll pass on their products. Especially agree with your second line :)

Depends on what view you ascribe to.

Some people could care less who makes their products and what their money is funding. They would buy the next Call of Duty even if it directly funded some pro-holocaust group and meant a baby would die for every copy sold.

Other people value their hard earned money a little more and would prefer not to fund the extravagant lifestyle of some asshole.

Neither is wrong. Your money, do with it what you want.

There was a lot of conflicting information on what happened with that but in the end they both sounded like idiots to me. You can argue that you don't want to give the CEO any more money but there are a ton of idiot CEOs. I mean just look at Activision.
 
While I see what you guys mean , is it really right to screw over an entire company because of one guy? Stardock does make good software , and the ceo's butt should be in jail soon.
