Picked up the four Futurama movies and Family Guy Volume 9 for $42. I have a feeling a combo pack of Walking Dead seasons will be out next year so I passed on Season 1. I might pick up Green Lantern if they price match Walmart's $1.96 offer.

I must say Amazon did a much better job matching DVD/Blu Ray prices than video games this year.

I just got back from Walmart,... apparently The Lorax (Combo Pack) IS NOT 8.96.. still at 19.96 bar code # 02519212646 at the store. Web site says 8.96

Same goes for Tintin combo code: 009736146154 (still rings up 19.96) but strangely web site says 8.96

Also, unable to find BRAVE Blu for 8.96 anywhere.. they didn't put it out.

Was that "Snow white for adults" movie any good? All I heard anyone say about it was that one of the actresses slept with a producer and cheated or something. No one who saw it even told me about the actual movie lol.

Anyway, I'm in for some big bang theory.

That movie was boring! DO NOT SEE IT! It dragged forever, the trailer made it seem awesome, but it's a lie! The only good thing I can say is that the witch evil lady was very convincing.

Man, this has been one of the best Black Friday's ever for my bluray collections and it isnt even officially black friday yet!!! I have been spreading the purchases around this year instead of primarily going with Best Buy since they fucked so many people last year including me. I'm just so happy i have been able to get all of this without having to fight a mob of idiots tomorrow. So far here is my haul and of course all of these are BluRays:

Target:

The cabin in the woods- 8.00
The hunger games - 8.00
Superman Collection- 10.00
The Avengers Target Exclusive - 15.00

Kmart

Max Payne 3 - in store pick up @ 8.99

Best Buy

Sherlock Holmes: A game of shadows - 3.99
She's out of my league - 3.99
Wrath of the Titans - 3.99

Walmart

Brave 3disc - 8.96
Prometheus 2disc - 8.96

Amazon -

In Time - 5.99

If your an alien fan, I would highly recommend getting the 4 disc version of prometheus. The bonus disc has an incredible amount of info about the movie and how it was made(and its not in the 2 disc set). I think its worth the extra $5 for the 4 disc and if you don't want it, you could probably sell off just the 3d disc.

did anyone get Madagascar 3 from walmart last night? If so, can you post a picture of what it looks like?

I was practically arguing with walmart employees last night and they insisted that it was a different copy, but the one in the ad looks identical to the blu/DVD/DC.

Gt Waitlisted instantly for Iron Man and Lincoln Vampire Slayer. Iron Man converted, Lincoln didn't. Oh well. Scored Iron Man 1&2 on blu for about $7 total. Not terrible.

Anyone else interested in that Dexter seasons 1-5 blu lightning deal? Between that, Bond and the Vita I may be eating peanut butter sandwiches the next few days.

On Best Buy's website, the Bond 50 Blu-Ray Collection is listed for $129.99 but says it's OOS online and you can't check stores for stock. I just wanted to let everyone know I went to my local Best Buy just now and they had plenty of copies (15-20 at least) for $129.99. If you are desperate for the Collection like I was (LOL) and can't wait for whatever Amazon is selling it for tomorrow, try hitting up your local Best Buy B&M store as they most likely have it in stock. If you can wait until tomorrow, I am hearing that the Amazon price will be between $110 and $130 (I believe it was on this site where I found that information LOL).

I don't know if I'm using the right terms, but the production / design / filmography was all excellent for a "dark"ish fantasy movie.

That said, the film felt like it moved at a snail's pace and Kristin Stewart is a terrible actress.

It's maybe worth a rental or owning for a buck or two. I personally wouldn't pay any more than that for it on DVD.

Pretty much that. The movie had potential to be good, but Kristen was the wrong choice for Snow White (and probably only got the part because she was messing around with the director). Makes me feel bad for the other actors in the movie. She ruined any chance that it had at being good. D:

Anyone who got the Sherlock Holmes: GoS DVD, is it 2 discs or 1 disc? I am selling one on eBay sealed and I didn't"t notice until later that the generic listing info says it is 2 discs, but I can't tell if my copy is one.

Well made off with pretty good haul and got everything I was after for BF prices or close to it, (Borderlands 2 evaded me, both times Amazon had it up) so it all pretty much worked out in the end.

Speaking of which anyone see any good deals on these (bluray) movies anywhere?

Expendables 2
They Live

Also I was looking at the pre-release for Dark Knight Rises, and saw the trilogy collection (The Dark Knight Trilogy) that launches same day for like $5 more, if I didn't already own the other two, I'd just get that 5 disc set instead and you'd get all 3 movies for $10, I don't need ultraviolet, digital copy or dvd version for $25.

And here's my movie haul from this week, some of it showed up today already. (all BD unless noted)

The Prisoner (Blu) $23
Kids in the Hall complete collection $18 (dvd)
Kids in the Hall: Brain Candy $17 (dvd, it's OoP but a good price for it)
Prometheus (blu) $15 4 disc version
V for Vendetta / Watchmen / Constantine (Triple-Feature)
Big Trouble in Little China
The Avengers
Prometheus
Escape from NY
Mad Max
Girl with the Dragon Tattoo
Abe Lincoln vampire hunter
Iron Man 2 $4
Green Lantern (dvd) $2

Now going to finish up some chores, grab something to eat and sit and watch Thor or Captain America for free on Amazon Prime. Hope everyone else's deal hunts were as fruitful as mine.

Can't beat staying home and shopping, I always say. ;)

MovieStop has Expendables 2 for $9.99 DVD and $14.99 Blu-ray.

And while it's not quite Black Friday, Walmart has Doctor Who S1 and Torchwood S1 and 2 for $20 each.

Has anyone seen any deals for Bones Season 7, Psych Season 5 and 6, or Castle Season 2-4? It seems like those more recent seasons aren't included in any DVD sales but perhaps someone saw something somewhere.
