ahhh nostalgia... nearly 8 years ago now

Rolling in a '99 Honda Accord LX sedan. Had 66k original miles on it and a clean and clear CarFAX when I got it May of 2010. Heck every single service record was in the glove box. Right now it has a little over 99k on it. And the only thing that needed to be done was change the power steering belt and the timing belt and everything that goes with that back in the spring. It'd be a perfect project car if I could afford it. Has an F23A4 engine in it that I'd love to turbo

2004 Ford Escape XLS. V6 and not a gas guzzler for being a SUV. Reliable little fucker and its perfect for road trips, which i do alot.

Mines white like this one:
6FED5450-2BA5-4394-8E0A-5F48CF8A3591_1.jpg

(But with better Stock Rims :))

05 Mustang V6. It had only 13,000 or so miles when I bought it around the end of 06 and has now just under 83,000. I'm considering trading it in for an Escape, but the damned things look like they have to much plastic in the front that will just crack in half and all of the ones in the area that are less than 2 years old have the same amount of miles as my car. I can't see in paying for a 2 year old car with 80,000+ miles on it.
Expecting my second child anyday now and in preparation I had to ditch my 08 Lexus ISF in favor of an Acura MDX.
Should've did what I did instead, got a wagon :D

Originally was going to get a Nissan GT-R but the fiance shot that down :(

2011 Mitsubishi Lancer Ralliart, wanted an Evo but I figured I'd get this for now, then trade it in for an Evo in a couple of years.

Still has all wheel drive, turbo, dual clutch etc

I actually wanted that car, seemed to have most of what makes the Evo fun without the Evo price. I'm rolling a 2005 G35 coupe, like this one except in a gold color.

Couple of years ago I got my 2005 E500, I live about 12 miles 1 way to work so I didn't mind moving from a V6 to a V8 and it gets decent mileage overall but I do enjoy the power on the highway.

Nice, I drove the ralliart's when they came out. Then my friend bought an Evo X.. So I ended up going !@#% that.....

I think my only complaint about it was that the tires were too narrow. Very fun car to drive.

Very nice. I actually looked at the CTSV sedan before getting the ISF a few years back. Got some track time in the sedan last summer. The engine is just a monster.

I got the MDX because it left me room in the budget for a new pure weekend sports car but that won't come until next summer. The GTR is on my short list along with the 2013 Shelby, had a couple high power Mustangs over the years and am thinking of going back.

Nice. GT-R is a great buy if you can fund the maintenance. The Boss 302 Mustang/Camaro ZL1 are also pretty sweet. But the Boss 302 is going away for next model year though.

My brother left his E90 M3 when he went off to china. So if he doesn't return for a couple of years I'll pick that one up. But I'm pretty sure he'll come back.
The new Tesla S is getting some awesome reviews. A few years down the road and the tech/infrastructure will really make that a viable option

I was hoping this thread was about CheapyD buying a retired Wienerschnitzel Weinermobile and turning it into the CAGWagon, and then driving to the next E3 straight from Japan. I imagined him doing a lot of laps on whatever boat he was going to use to get over here.
Tan '97 Ford Escort with over 180k miles on it. LOL!
Had a '95 Escort LX years ago. As much as I hated that 88hp piece of crap, it sure as hell took some serious ass abuse. After I had that, I swore to never ever own another car that had a double digit horsepower rating

Just detailed my RSX by hand this weekend and some shithead rear-ended it this afternoon. fucking pissed about that because body shops tend to suck ass when detailing a car after a wreck. On the brightside, no one was hurt. Was going to post a pic of it too.

Had to spend thanksgiving away from my cts-v. But got to spend sometime with the e90 M3 coupe when I went to my parents

M3's got great sportiness quality to it and there are some definite pros over my cts-v despite being slower. However they really are just different vehicles. I might just end up owning both if it works out that way.

I'd love to be afford a nice sports car. Always had a soft spot for Porsche.

As is, I drive a 1999 Ford Explorer with 227,000 miles. At least it only cost me $800 when I bought it two years ago. Drive it until it dies.

This thread makes me want to trade mine in.

I've been driving an 2008 Jeep Patriot for almost four years. It's a 2.4 with a manual tranny, so it has a little pep with decent MPG. But this thing has been the biggest piece of shit I have ever owned. As soon as it rolled 40k, it started having problem after problem after problem. I'm to the point now, with about 68k on it, that I stopped giving a shit, as long as it runs and passes inspection, I'm happy.

I'd be furious if I didn't get a steal on it. I only paid $10k for it when it was only a year only and had 10k miles on it. Unfortunately, since I was the second owner, the lifetime warranty was non-transferable. I've owned nothing but Mopars for the past 15 years, but I think I'm done after this one...

The day I brought it home:

2010 Altima 2.5S

Love it. Very room and comfortable to drive in. Don't feel cramped in the car at all unlike my previous car,Dodge Status Coupe 2002.

Only mod is a double din, Pioneer 44000bh

I wished I could afford a very nice sports car, but instead I invest ALL my money in my sound systems in my car.

1997 Lexus ES300
1 Pioneer Stage 4 Headunit
Focal Access Coaxials in the back
Focal K2 components up front

and Infinity Kappa Subs in the back (two 12")

currently driving a 95' Volvo 940 with 206,000 miles on it that I picked up for cheap through the winter, will be upgrading it once the spring hits.

After 8-9 years of Neglect I finally decided to wash, clay bar, polish, and wax my car. Took a long ass time but the result is pretty excellent. Esp the Meguilars #21 Sealant I used looks great.

Also Altima finally ticked past 50k miles ;)

this was my last ride, i offered cheapy a chance to drive it last year in an email if he could smuggle me into e3, he never responded.

Hopefully I can get my first car soon, I have about $4,000 saved. I have bought a 1988 Toyota Camry for my older brother to help him get to work and I have helped paid for his 1999 Jeep Cherokees repairs on the engine. I also once helped a female friend buy a 1979 Toyota Pick Up, Ironically I have bought and help paid for cars but never owned one I'm 23 now haha.

Getting into E3 is actually pretty easy. Just gotta get creative sometimes ;)

Well, I'm a n00bie, so I can't post pictures, but I drive a 1992 Chevy S10. Single cab, bed, no power accessories, automatic tranny, and a 4.3 under the hood. It's an S10 "Tahoe" edition, so it has a neat trim package on it.

I outfitted it years ago with a Pioneer deck and new front speakers, also Pioneer. That deck is a bit outdated now, but not terribly so. Heck, the whole truck is outdated. About 2 years ago, I put in Kicker 4x10 rear speakers. The stock speakers were still there and still not working. Then, almost a year ago, I put in a sub system. The sub is an MTX Thunder 6000 10" being pushed by an Alpine MRP-T220. I bridged the amp, so it's pushing about 140 watts through the sub, which is just above lowest acceptable value. Bumps pretty good, although I have built a custom box which houses 2 of my 10" subs. I just need to get an amp to push them and THEN we'll be rollin'! ;)

I'm going to just post my visual history of autos later. Loved every car Ive had. Only one that really let me down was a 99 Intrigue. Everything went bad at once. Cool factor went to the 69 Camaro RS, and most fun to drive was my E30. Most useful is my Tahoe LTZ 4x4 used as the baby hauler(doesn't mean its stock though). Wife's favorite was the C4 Convertible.

My first love freshly detailed. I named her RSeXy.

Now I have a new love and she's a harsh mistress. I call her BRuZer because she's a rough rider and likes to punish your :booty:. I thought the RSX was harsh ride, but compared to how harsh the BRZ is, the RSX was like driving on a cloud while sitting on a recliner.

I ain't gonna lie, I kinda miss the RSX...probably because she was my first.
Very nice looking car, first one I've seen in black.
Oddly enough, black is probably the least common/popular color for the twins.
I guess I'll contribute:

2012 Hyundai Sonata 2.0T

2003 Hyundai Tiburon 2.0
Nice! I'm always jealous of people that can have 2 cars like that. I'm too cheap to pay for insurance and have no garage to store them in. Looks like you're keeping them in good condition too!

Looking to get something really fuel efficient and cheap like a geo metro and was wondering if anyone has recommendations for other cars like that and where I should look other than craigslist?

Most cars get 25/35 mpg and in order to beat those numbers, you'll be in the hybrid territory. It really comes down to how much you want to spend.

under 2k preferably closer to 1k, seems like you can get an early to mid 90s geo metro that runs for that much, i can't afford a hybrid

I would just get a Civic hatchback and call it a day.

I have a 2008 Pontiac G6. It gets me from point A to point B which is just fine with me. Just passed 60,000 miles with it. It had 30,000 when I bought it in 2010.

Although, in high school I was an idiot. I had a 98 escort with neon lights and a huge spoiler that looked horrible! Amazing what we think looks good when we're young, haha.

Would love to upgrade to some sort of small SUV with decent MPG in a couple years when I have the Pontiac paid off. Something like an Escape or a Rav would be perfect I'd imagine. Something a little bit bigger for when the Mrs. and I have a kid down the road.

A geo metro can get 45-55 if you wind the rubber band up extra tight.

You might be able to find an old diesel Jetta or rabbit that would get that kind of mileage, but it would be tough. You'd want to know how to work on it yourself.

Do you know how to drive a stick?

I didn't need a car until I was 27. Bought this in 2007 - 1997 Honda Civic HX

Sold it in 2009 and got a 2007 328xi

My wife had a 2002 Jetta she bought new and sold it last year to get a new family car - 2011 Touareg VR6

My daily driver is a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited (4.7L HO V8, Quadra Drive). Right now I'm getting 16-17 mpg, which is painful given that I do a lot of driving.

better than my 13 mpg :)

I've got a 2006 Chrysler Pacifica. I bought it used with about 100k miles on it's been about 2 years since I got and I've put a lot more miles on it already than I should have, but it's whatevs. Not many problems with it outside the cylinders, though. Good on gas for the most part.

I ended up with a 92 volvo 940 turbo. We looked at the cheap options that were available and decided that it was least likely to blow up. It needs a few little fixes, but I like it a lot so far.
