It's 11/14 and most if not all of these prices are still live. Get 'em while you can!

You guys are the best when it comes to helping a man limit his spending and maximizing enjoyment, so let me pose question.

How bad is Operation Raccoon City? I am contemplating buying 3 copies, 1 for me and 2 for friends (we are best buds and play as many co-op games together as possible). Is it worth it just to have a game to stomp through, collect achievements and whatnot? I wish a demo existed, but alas, it doesn't.

Thanks in advance for any advice given, and I hope this doesn't bother too many people who like to keep the threads strictly on topic.

I actually enjoyed it. There were a couple of annoyances, but overall, I had fun. Would I play it twice? No. But one time through was enjoyable for the most part. I'm not a RE purist like most, I'm more of a cover shooter type of guy, so it was right up my alley. If you are an RE purist, then you should probably skip it. Otherwise, I bought it when it was $10, ran through it and sold it for a bit more, so maybe that's where some of my true enjoyment stems from.

This is my OCD side talking, but Saints Row 3 is only on sale for 360, so its achievements, not trophies, as far as buying the game from this sale goes. ;) lol

On other news, this sale could not have come at a better time. Had a $5 coupon that expired on the 17th and wasn't gonna use it. Was able to order SR3 for $7 shipped in the end. I get to replay it and finish it now (I rented it before).

Now playing: Bloodborne (PS4), Battlefield Hardline (XB1), Pokemon Omega Ruby (3DS), The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD (Wii U), The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D (3DS), The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds (3DS), Skylanders: Giants (360), Pokemon Shuffle (3DS), Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare (PS4), Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS

How long is the shipping taking people? I ordered yesterday in the afternoon and I haven't gotten a shipping e-mail yet.

I ordered yesterday afternoon (around 12-1pm EST), and I got a shipping confirmation email this morning around 11am EST. Hopefully you'll hear something by the end of the day.

I wish GameFly would put SR3 on sale for the PS3,
Spoiler

Honestly, when I saw how outrageous the Skies Over Steelport level was, I knew I had to play the game. I think there's a Saints Row game (from a clearance deal) in my backlog, but I haven't tried the series before.

Is there a trend with restocks or is it just random? Usually I get in on these deals right when they start but forgot about this one.

I was hoping to get Starhawk.

good prices, not really interested in anything cept saints row 3, Im gonna pass and hope for a bigger blowout in or around end of the month or December. I dont remember when it was exactly but it was around the time they had a few titles junk titles for 5 bucks, they also had some quality titles for 10-15. My backlogs huge and dont really have time these days to play games to see how bad/good the questionable titles are.

Nope. I played it before and thought it was mediocre. Worth the price of a value meal.

Bought Zumba Fitness 2 for $9.99 for the missus since it's still $33 on Amazon ($9 trade-in if she disapproves). Probably the last game I'll ever buy for our 6 year old Wii, seems fitting.

Ordered it 2PM Tues and it shipped 11AM Wed from Tampa. Hope the belt shipped with it.

Was tempted with Need For Speed the Run. $9.
Saw the reviews were bad to mediocre, so decided to pass.

Convince me otherwise? I like arcade racers.

I like arcade racers as well, but I kept hearing things about awful rubberbanding-AI and that's usually a deal breaker for me.

I wanted to give the 360 Cartoon Network Smash Bros game a shot for nostalgic reasons. How is that game sold out already? >.<

Lulz, there isn't even a review available on Metacritic for it (only the 3DS version), thats probably not a good sign. I figured what the hell for $10.

Trying to decide if I should pick up NBA2K12 on 360. I'm f'n terrible at realistic basketball games, but love the NBA Jam/Street arcadey ones. Plus I'm a big basketball fan in general and am really into in the idea of playing as the classic players/teams.

I know this is pretty subjective, but anyone have any thoughts on whether it is worth my picking this up for $10? If there's some sort of trainer or whatever to help me learn how to not be so awful that could be cool, but if not I'm worried I'll be so far over my head that it won't really be much fun.

Thanks

I loved NBA2k12. I borrowed it from a friend, the game is very deep and there's a lot to do. The training is not extremely friendly, but it does the job. You can't select the training exercise you want to do, but you select from a large array (Post Moves, Lay-up/Jump Shots, Defense, etc.) and you practice all of the aspects at once. It's worth 10 bucks, for sure.

Picked up Test Drive: Ferrari. It got pretty bad reviews, but for $10 I'll give it a shot.

I'm going to save the money I'd spend on random games I kinda want to spend it on specific games that I really want. That is the First Law of Black Friday Equivalent Exchange.

I Thought the law was crush those who stand between you and your deal. That and it's the only rule and law.

And seeing people buy RE: ORC...oh you poor misguided fools.
