Recommendations needed for good 5.1 headset

As much as I love my new Wii U, I ran into an aggravating problem running the HDMI through my receiver: I kept getting screen flicker and occasionally lost the video signal entirely!

My cable and PS3 work just fine through this setup, and at least the Wii U does fine when I directly connect it to the previously unused second HDMI outlet on my television.

So now I've got a picture, but sound coming out of Samsung LCD speakers (ugh). Can anyone recommend a good 5.1 stereo headset? I needed to get one anyway for voice chat, and I don't mind spending a little extra to get good quality.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Looking at the back of my system I dont even know how you would hook one up to it. Its not like the 360 and PS3 with their TOSLINK outs. In wonder if you can use a USB headset with it?

Put your hand on a hot stove for a min. and it feels like an hour; play a cool game for an hour and it feels like a min. Brevity's def. of relativity.
