Amazon: Eden of the East (Series Blu-Ray / DVD Combo) $20.99

If you haven't gotten this, get it now. It is an awesome series, although I prefer the DVD packaging that doesn't have that stupid blue bar mucking up the artwork.
It's part of a bigger Funimation sale. I'd make a thread, but WTK usually does that, and does it better
Ah yes... I looked for the thread before I posted but it disappeared?

And just as a heads up for anyone who blind buys this not knowing they will have to buy more to get the ending. This "complete" series doesn't have the actual conclusion. There are two followup movies sold separately.

Also, you can youtube the entire series first in case you're wary of blind buys. People have so much acclaim for this show, but I found out the hard way it wasn't for me. Just watch the first episode or two to get a feel for it.

It is from the same director as Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, so if you liked that show, you will likely like Eden, though Eden doesn't have much action and no Tachikomas.

So torn on this. I started watching this on Netflix right as they took it off. I'm only about 5 episodes in but I LOVE it. However, I REALLY shouldn't spend anymore money.

Yes, no Major Kusanagi either ;)

That argument doesn't hold water, at least not with me. GITS as a whole is my favorite anime hands down and I didn't like this show.
