I know this deal probably not for everyone but OfficeMax currently is selling the Sony Pulse Headphones for $119.99 and Persona 4 Golden for $39.99. There is a coupon code for 30 off 150 that you use over the phone @ 877.633.4236 bringing the total down to $129.99 + Tax + Shipping is Free!.

lol... I felt that way a few months ago, Lamps Plus inventory checker has somebody call you, the item I was looking for was only available online so I made the order over phone. Worked out for me because I managed to use the $50 off coupon that I wanted to use.

I felt even more paranoid giving my CC info over the phone than typing on the computer.

Dell has some really good deals that usually involve talking to their sales representatives in order to maximize the deal (Monitors and the like). It's a generally terrible experience, but worth it.

Yeah, I'm still waiting for mine from Cyber Monday to ship. Got an email over the weekend that they've restocked them and will be shipping soon, so we'll see...

I took the leap and placed the order. The rep was nice and she had no problem reading back all the information I told her. Had to make sure it was all smooth. Made a Office Max + Max Rewards accounts, but still had to give my credit card over the phone.

Get ready for a wait. I've been waiting for mine to ship since Cyber Monday and got that same message two weeks back. The thing that really peeves me off is that there is no mention of a wait time on the item's web page, even now, which sends the message that these are in stock for immediate shipment. They most certainly are not and haven't been for over two weeks. OfficeMax really needs to get their act together. They have made an extremely bad impression on this first time (online) buyer...

no its not getting strange you just dont understand how financial transactions work.

its not a charge on your debit card its a charge on your debit/visa/mc card and it processes as a credit card. Which means its a 3 business day authorization hold. Essentially it doesn't go through until it processes when the company charging the card send in a sales draft to finalize the sale. That night your credit card company / bank sends it to processing and it gets processed that night.

the 3 day authorization hold is just a charge to make sure the funds are available and fall off after 3 days however the company can keep holding the funds by submitting another 3 day authorization hold.

they have 30 days to submit a sales draft to the bank/cc company to finalize a sale before its null and void.

I used to work in Banking.

I suggest using the dongle and USB for a vita setup. ,3.5 audio cable from vita to USB plugged into anything they gives it power. You'll get better sound and you'll be wireless.....well sorta, the vita will be tethered down

Pulse headsets are now $80 at Amazon, Its a Sony sale going on at Amazon, Best buy and Walmart among others.
