AC1 was good, but flawed - majorly redundant w/ copy&pasted side-quests.
AC2 is a MAJOR improvement over the original in EVERY WAY. AMAZING game.
AC: Brotherhood had improvements in the gameplay department and added MP, but the SP-story wasn't as good as AC2.
I still think AC2 + AC:B are the best of the series, so far - that's not including AC3, since I ain't played it.
ACR....I need to finish it, but I wasn't fond of the new Desmond first-person puzzles and tower defense missions.
