Congratulations on your new Little Inferno Entertainment Fireplace! Throw your toys into your fire, and play with them as they burn. Stay warm in there. It's getting cold outside!
Burn flaming logs, screaming robots, credit cards, batteries, exploding fish, unstable nuclear devices, and tiny galaxies. An adventure that takes place almost entirely in front of a fireplace - about looking up up up out of the chimney, and the cold world just on the other side of the wall.
Though this game looks to be a game about burning stuff in a fireplace, a story emerges early on and grows throughout your time with the game that culminates at the end in one of the most interesting games I've played in a while. The main draw of the gameplay is centered around buying items in a catalog, burning them, figuring out the combos that net your bonuses and helps you unlock the next catalog of stuff along with furthering this weird little narrative that begins to unfold that overtakes the pyromaniacal aspect of the game.
If you need a little help figuring out the combos and some of the other secrets in the game, the Inferno Fans site has a lot of good info along with combo hints if you don't just want the answer for what items you need to get the combo. The soundtrack can be downloaded for free here.
I'd highly recommend the game to anybody here that's interested in something a little different and something that's unique on the Wii U. I got through the game in about four hours with about 2/3rds of the combo list completed and I'll probably go back to finish up the combo list. The game is fully playable on just the controller itself if that interests you.
