Thanks, I added it to the list.

Did you ever get back to me on whether the Ship Simulator Extremes DLCs are Steam or not? The base game is, but the DLC pages don't say anything. Thanks and sorry if I missed your reply (I just saw you say you'd look into it).

Just found out, they are not, sorry for the delay :(.

Cheers,
Tony

And is the version of Condemned in the Sega Action Pack -not- a Steam key?

Really, Sega? :(

Yeah, that is a bit off. Any reason why on this? Amazon sells a Condemned Steam key on its own, so it's not a matter of not having access to it. Why is this particular bundle mixed DRM?

Tony,

Any word if Sims 3 is going to be on sale. I missed the origin sale last week and would buy some of the expansions now but can't justify paying $30 for the base game.

What should I do if I bought a game that says DRM: Steam but didn't get a Steam code? (Spectraball)

I'd ask the same thing about the 48 Genesis Game pack.

Then again, this is Sega. I've followed the company since the 90s and making boneheaded decisions like this is kind of their MO.

Is anyone else pissed at the Max Payne 3 sale? Game itself is gonna be $10 but Max Payne 3 + L.A. Noire is also gonna be $10? Thats stupid.

Tony, I don't know if you can answer this because I know it would likely go into potentially privileged information, but do you know why Cosmi (the inheritors of ValuSoft and its titles from THQ) thought it would be a good idea to price the Steam keys significantly higher than the straight-up DRM-free product? I just thought it was weird that the DRM-free titles are $2.99, while the same titles with Steam keys are in the $4.99 to $7.99 range.

My guess is that the Sega pack is priced lower due to being DRM-free. Maybe Amazon is getting smarter and realizes people are willing to pay more for Steam keys, and less for DRM-free.

See my reply to Kitsune Sniper, might be the same situation.

Thanks for the reply. It says they aren't on the spreadsheet so I'm using that to find some of my errors.

Pending Tony's response, you might wanna consider possibly buying it from GamersGate. The Sims 3 franchise is on sale today for 50% off. I'd link you to the store page, but that would probably be bad form here on the Amazon thread.

Can I get some opinions on Crusader Kings Pack? I've never played the series but it was recommended in the past for a love of strategy games that can be played at a slower pace. Is it very combat focused, or are there other equally desirable forms of strategy? I noticed from reviews it looks like it was on sale for $5 back in January, which surprises me... is that some kind of mistake? Is 15 a 'buy now' price point, or do you think I can expect it cheaper between now and fall?

Thanks in advance for opinions!

It is a great game, but it is pretty much the very definition of "not for everyone". I would suggest watching some YouTube videos to see if it is something you would enjoy or not. I think I paid $10 for it in a bundle back around BF/XMAS and it is very much worth that to me. War does not have to be a focus if you don't want it to be. Have you ever played any of Paradox other strategy games?

Hey guys,

This thread is moving SUPER fast, I THINK I've answered all the questions I've seen, BUT, if you have asked a question in the past day or so and I haven't answered, please re-ask and I'll grab it today not that I'm not scrambling to get Mayhem! off the ground.

My co-worker who handles our on-site stuff went to sleep about an hour and a half ago...

Cheers,
Tony

Any chance we can get the MP3 Season Pass on sale at the end of the month? Was going to buy two games and wanted to use credit on Game+Season Pass. Also how long is the Rockstart coupon thing going? I want Bully and Midnight (since Manhunt isn't Steam I'll pass). I would plan on buying those at their cheapest so I can get two coupons and use one for MP3 game and one for SP.

Edit: According to Tony all these are indeed Steam keys.

Tony the Assassin's Creed III DLC product pages say Steam, but the spreadsheet says NO on all of them--can I please get confirmation of this?

Also: Hunting Unlimited 2011 shows as a Steam key, but only Hunting Unlimited 2008 and 2010 appear to be on Steam. Thanks ahead of time for clearing these up!

Anyone know what happened to the $15 2K credit for preordering Bioshock: Infinite being available for use on the season pass after 30 days? I've been periodically attempting to buy it since said 30 days from release passed, but it still doesn't apply the credit. Just wanted to make sure it wasn't still an option at some point, as otherwise I'll use the credit on Borderlands 2 while it's on sale. Would be great to use it on the Infinite season pass though.

Speaking of which it doesn't work on the game which I was also led to believe.

Edit: I appear to have lost the $30 credit? I tested by adding this: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00CPBZDQ8/ ($69.98) and it only shows my $49.99 credit I have had for a while and the $30 2K Games credit doesn't appear to show. Tony, do I need to contact Customer Support and see what is up?

This is a good question. The $30 credits will work on the Season Pass, the $15 ones won't, the reason for this is the $15 ones were replaced by the $30 ones in our system and there is no way for me to add the Season Pass to the benefit set (what you can use the credit on) for the $15 ones.

Cheers,
Tony

ME3 is great, too. Save for the last fifteen minutes.

Agreed 100%.

ME1 is a masterpiece, though

For the most part, yep.
Just...the combat and Inventory was garbage in ME1.

ME2 had one of the best end-game missions I've ever seen, except for the final boss.

Are we not supposed to be able to use the $30 credit on the game itself then? I'm talking to CS right now because the $30 credit seems to have disappeared from me or something. I haven't bought anything 2K so I haven't used it.

So basically, the $15 which we were told would work on the season pass no longer does because Amazon botched the X-COM credit?

Essentially, if we used the $30 for X-COM as intended, we're not able to purchase the Infinite season pass?
