All wii u games are B2G1 at target. This deal stacked with the weekly ad sale prices. I managed to get Tekken Tag, Batman and Ninja Gaiden 3 for $90 before tax which is a great deal. Other games on sale at $45 were Scribblenauts, Madden and Nba 2k13.

Are we really going to start this shit again?

I can confirm that this was at my store as well. Guess it was something they added last minute.

I'm convinced at this point that really has nothing better to do with his time, it's sad really.

Ummm no... discounts are on the games... They aren't nintendo games, and besides theres sales on OTHER games ALL THE TIME!!! New Console doesnt mean permanent $60 games...

Damn trolls. I bet the Wii u haters have yet to even play the system. Oh well... Ive been waiting for a good sale like this that stacks with sale prices. How is NG 3? I didn't bother with the other console versions based on reviews but I love me some ninja gaiden! Wish Darksiders 2 would drop a little I traded my 360 copy hoping the Wii u version would drop soon and now I'm in the mood to play it.

Wii U will have Lego City, Wonderful 101, Rayman, Bayonetta and Game and Wario out in the next few months (i think i might have forgotten 1)

Really, no games have really came out since Far Cry 3 on December 4th.

DmC will be the first bigger release.

Don't forget Monster Hunter. It's great fun. I'm loving it. And it's selling just fine. And it'll be around for years. Heh.

Thats the one I was forgetting. So yeah, at least 6 good games to look forward to in the next 6 months.

Oh, I also forgot Pikmin 3 some how, lol.

In all seriousness, I don't think I've ever seen B2G1Fs on games for a specific console within it's first year. Yes, there have been smaller discounts (usually like $10 off, or buy the system and get a game for $xx) but nothing to the extent of B2G1F. Plus, this is the second B2G1F on Wii U games. There was one near launch too.

I'm wondering if this isn't Nintendo's way of increasing console sales?:whistle2:k (Yes, I know this is a Target sale, but Nitnendo has had store specific promotions in the past.)

Would be nice to have this on a console I actually already have/want games on. Guess they are doing this since the wii-u has such a small selection, only one or two good games (imo) meaning the free one would be a game I would not buy in the first place. I guess you could resell it in that case.

I don't think Bayonetta 2 is gonna hit in the next 6 months.
Its all games. he was saying its not just Nintendo games on sale so its not sign of anything.
Thank you for clearing this up for me!

Both the 3DS/Vita had these sales the week they came out.

Also, the market has expanded dramatically since the 360/PS3 came out, so naturally more stores carry more stock therefore more chances of discounting new games quicker.
Wow, you people are fucking annoying. Some of us can afford every system. Sorry you don't like it.
Hahahah.
Wow, you people are fucking annoying. Some of us can afford every system. Sorry you don't like it.
And others of us are fine with going into massive debt to own all systems.
wish I had a wii-u now darn.
Easily fixed.

I love my Wii U and am very glad I bought one the first day. Weighing in on this sale, the majority of U games were cross-platform so it completely makes sense to discount those after the launch window. There will need to be room made for the Bayonettas and Monster Hunters coming out. And let's not forget the U is the only truly backward compatible system out right now so technically it HAS the largest library of the three, granted quality notwithstanding.

Also, I think the list of sale games is in the Target thread.
To get back on topic; any list of all the games on sale at $45? I hope Darksiders II is.
It's not:

ESPN Sports Connection, Ninja Gaiden III, NBA 2K13

I think this is a way to clear stock, for the people who already have a Wii U it's hard to find three titles worth it that you didn't already have.

We're starting to see the normal backups we saw with the Wii, games like ZombiU are low stock while Madden is filling the isles because of it's bare bones options.

This is YMMV but if you can't find three you want and you want one of the lesser titles (like Madden) keep an eye out for them clearing space. I know the Targets that I deal with all started to clearance their overflow Wii games, I think we'll start to see that with the launch Wii U titles to make room for newer titles.

Don't have a WiiU yet but was wondering if anyone has suggestions of 3 game sets to buy to maximize savings while getting quality titles? I was gonna grab a WiiU in a couple weeks and figure this may be a good way to head kn

Zombie U
Super Mario Bros U
Scribblenauts Unlimited

I have Nintendoland, Black Ops 2, Mass Effect 3, and Zombi U.

This deal is great and I wish I had the money to get Scribblenauts Unlimited, NSMBU, and Arkham City.

Arkham City is 40$ at Fry's and Scribblenauts is 45$ on sale? How amazing.

Zombie U isn't good
The only game I want to get is zombi u and after playing the demo im waiting for $25 tag
Really? ZombiU is fantastic. It's the best survival horror game I've played in the PS360 gen, hands down. I absolutely love it. I've been playing over the past two weekends, and just spent all day playing it. Yeah, the graphics could be better (looks on par with a launch PS360 title), but man...it can be a scary game at times, and it's just really well made. I love the combat. I love the feeling that I'm fragile, and I have to really take my time and not do stupid things. I love the feeling of the world.

You really can't get a great feel for the game until a few hours in. By the third hour I was totally engrossed in it. There are enough upgrades, and new items introduced that allow you to go places in areas you've already been (think Metroid) that it drives you forward as well. I'm actually surprised by the quality of the game itself.

I don't know if there are 3 Wii U games worth owning at this point, but ZombiU is the game to get for this system. The way it uses the controller is awesome too. If you want to see what this system is all about, ZombiU is the game to play as well. This game wouldn't be as fun without the controller, and that's really the only Wii U game I've played where I can say that.
A lot of people seem to be really enjoying it so id disagree.

If you like actual survival horror, you will like ZombiU
I f-ing love zombie movie,games,porn
Zombie U isn't good
Ha, obviously I disagree! It's funny how people either love or hate this game. If you like true survival horror games, then you will love this game. If you want to just mow aliens down bro, then go play Halo 4. This, is not for that type of gamer. Me, I like both types of games, especially when they are this well done.

This is the most fun I've had with a survival horror game since Resident Evil 4. Obviously if you don't like this type of game, you won't like this game. ;)

And I'm no Wii/Wii U fanboy. Check my post history, I've been extremely critical of the Wii U. I just genuinely love this game.

I was asking a Q? To Deader2818 because he had a list of games that were good and I was just asking if zombie U isn't good because it wasn't on his list of games that was good for the wii U and that is one of games I wanted to pick up if i was going to pick up a wii U

Oh, I guess you missed a ? at the end. Sorry if you meant to ask a question and not a statement.

The list I gave was for games coming out. If you want to know what games are out now that are good, imo, it would be:

Mario U
ZombiU
Scribblenauts
Warriors Orochi 3 Hyper
Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge (totally different then 3 for the 360/PS3)
Sonic Racing Transformed

Obviously games like Mass Effect 3, Batman, Darksiders II, Assassin's Creed 3, Tekken Tag 2, Black Ops II would be good to pick up if you hadnt played them on other consoles.
