Raze's Hell

CAGiversary!
I picked this up a few days ago at EB (behind the register in a glass case, $20), and have played through a couple of levels sofar. There is a little gore, but this is mature rated and not meant for little kids. It is a cool game despite a few minor graphical glitches every once in awhile, and well worth the $20 price if you can find a copy. You are a monster (Raze) who is angry because teletubby-like creatures with weapons like lollipop scythes are trying to force their happiness on you. It is a quirky first person shooter, with a similar control scheme to that in halo, plus you can roll around sonic-style to get through levels quickly.

Are you sure you own the game? :p just kidding.

got it yesterday, it's pretty fun. not the best action and the game is pretty glitchy and stuttery, but the concept it's self is cool enough to warrant a play through and i like it when games have a touch of political commentary in them(and it works)

thanks for the review. i might think of picking this one up. i thought it was 29.99 not 19.99? i could be wrong and might have seen the wrong price. o well...thanks for the info

I just picked this up yesterday. It is in third person.
I have only played it for around an hour or so but I think it is worth the $20 price.
Some of the things the little Kewletts say as you shoot at them and fight are funny as hell. Such as....

Hold still it will only hurt for a min.
We're here to help make things better.
Hey they're not supposed to fight back.
You bastard.

Worth checking out for $20...

I thought about picking it up but all the reviews I read said that it was insanely hard. One reviewer even said that he enjoyed the Ninja Gaiden Hurricane pack but Raze's Hell was far more difficult than that to the point that it wasn't even enjoyable. Any thoughts on the difficulty level?

I own it... It's definitely harder than, say, LEGO Star Wars, but it's certainly not Ninja Gaiden hard. I'd say it ranks in the same difficulty level as something like Rainbow Six 3. It's that three shots and you're dead type deal.
