I saw that Turtle beach is on sale at amazon, and thought now would be a good time to pick one up. I currently have a Tritton ax720 and it sounds awesome, BUT it is sooo uncomfortable that I need to replace it with something I can actually use.
I'm think either the x12 because I've been told that they are comfortable to wear with glasses for any extended period of time.
Ear force DPX21 ?

or Ear force DXL1

I was also checking on getting a razer headset, but haven't due to the prices.
Any suggestions or ideas ?

Beats? Might as well suggest Monster Cables and Bose speakers too. smh.

I have the TB MW3 Deltas and they are fairly comfortable for large headphones. I would imagine these would be similar too.
I heard if i were to get the x12 that i would also need to purchase an additional piece to connect it if I were using HDMI ?
Depends on your TV. If you have audio out, you don't need the adapter. The headset comes with a cable that connects to audio out ports, which is what the Xbox adapter would do if you use HDMI. I got mine for $30 from Newegg http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16874502025. They are refurbished but everything looks new and they are great on my Xbox and PC.

all i can recommend is go big or go home with headsets, seriously cheap ones are that for a reason .
I use my Beats for my Xbox and PC. Not sure why you can't?
I didn't want to get them due to the price.

That was kinda what i was thinking when I got the trittons, were supposed to the higher end headsets. I feel kinda burned after buying them, didn't really wanna spend that type of money again on another headset and not like them.
I was thinking prob spending no more then $100.

I have the ax720's too and I loved them. Unfortunately I had bought em when they first came out so they had the manufacturer defect where it breaks at the top...luckily i'm under warranty so its getting replaced. Although I don't wear glasses, I could play for hours and they were so comfortable i'd forget I had them on.

I remember reading all the reviews and alot of people said they're perfect for people with glasses, so that sucks that they didn't work out for you.

I bought refurbished X41's and love them! Very comfortable, easy to hook-up, and sound great. If you have one of the new Xbox designs I don't think you will need any additional cables or adapters - I didn't. I use the optical connection from my Xbox to the headset's transmitter and HDMI from the Xbox to my home theater receiver; when I want to just use the headset I put the receiver on mute.

I also wear glasses and have no problem with this set.
