Misc SOA stuff
Spoiler

For those that are SOA fans, Cryptozoic Entertainment snagged the liscense for SOA and will be doing a trading card set. Its based on seasons 1 through 4.

If its anything like their Walking Dead or Big Bang Theory releases, its gonna be expensive. If its closer to their Vampire Diaries set, I may have a shot at getting a full set. Theyre good at getting main signers so it should be interesting.

They also picked up the license for Breaking Bad, which I'm very much looking forward to! Ted is hoping to be doing sketches for Sons of Anarchy and Breaking Bad.

Never saw Breaking Bad but heard tons of good stuff.

If they do sketch cards for this, theyll go on the back burner for me and not a "must have" except for a possible couple of artist proofs.

Im hoping they do because that takes some heat off the pricing of the rest of the stuff for the case breakers. Guess it all breaks down as to wether or not who controls likeness rights etc.

This is very neat - I had heard of ACEOs in passing before but hadn't looked into them too much.

I don't have the budget to collect, but I love seeing what's been posted so far (from an aesthetic standpoint but also as an amateur artist). :D

I collect band/gaming posters when I can. Right now, as far as band posters go, I only have Pink Floyd's The Dark Side of the Moon and a poster I picked up at an Iron Maiden concert when they were on their Maiden England 2012 tour.

As far as gaming posters, I have Uncharted 3, MW3, and God of War: Ascension. I recently discovered that there is a Five Below in town and they have a bunch of posters. Once I scrap some money together, I'm gonna go get some.

I collect Variant Comic covers and autographed books. I'll have to remind myself to take pictures of them and post them one day.

Is it me or can people just draw better as time goes on? There are a ton of insane artists out there.

Also, this stuff is fascinating. I understand getting a piece or two to frame up for the man cave or whatever but collecting basically an unlimited amount of something so specific is wild. Everyone has their thing I guess!

I have big collection of coins. My main reason for collecting is that its my hobby, I find it fun and a great stress free way to spend some time. With the manic pace that life has some times, its a great way to temporarily get off the speeding bus we call life and just enjoy some peace and quiet in studying your craft.
I'm looking for coins only on Ebay and https://goldadvert.com/

I collected Lost Word: Jurassic Park movie trading cards. Never did get the full set. And of course, like most, I had CCG/TCG game cards; Pokemon, Gundam Wing, Dragon Ball Z, Star Wars, and Star Trek. Got rid of most all of them though over the years though.

I'm actually gifting some art for Christmas this year though. Picked up a original black & white Han Solo publicity photo, very early 1980's vintage and framed it for my sister as she's had a massive crush on Harrison Ford ever since she was a teenager. Also picked her up a vintage poster-sized wood framed unicorn airbrush painting, because she's also been really into unicorns since she was a teenager, and I figure she'll either love it or regard it as the best gag gift ever, only time will tell.
