It's not a bad deal, but I reckon this game will drop like a stone. It looks like the worst game in a never-been-that-great series.

I reckon $20 or less by late summer.

All FPS games drop like stones. This series is better than Kane & Lynch (especially that shit sequel), but that's not saying much.

I guess the point is, if you're buying games at full MSRP on release, you shouldn't be on Cheap Ass Gamer. ;)

Yeah it's a good deal, but after buying the first two day one and watching those prices drop fast, I think I'm gonna wait til sub $20-30 for this one.

This game is releasing the same day as Bioshock Infinite while April is wide open. That should tell you all you need to know about this game.
Not really... The demo is out, though.
After playing it I would even have to rethink spending $20 once it hits that price.

I preordered it the bonuses look sweet and I had a $10 promo credit. Can't go wrong with $20 preorder credit. Buying games on release date is a good idea if they offer good promos like this. I used my one for Crysis 3 on Walking Dead.

Actually you can go wrong on a game that is going to collapse in price very quickly and which is not so good. Although, seeing as how you preordered Walking Dead as well, whether or not a game is good doesn't seem to be a consideration for you.

This seems pretty harsh. These games haven't even come out yet. As we all know, EA and Activision are both great about carefully cultivating games to make them unique and outstanding experiences. I'm sure both of these innovative companies want to avoid some silly cash grab by releasing a game simply based on the name recognition of previous titles or other related media.

As much as I liked Army of Two the 40th Day, I was planning on getting this one with the $20 credit until I played the demo. They did a disservice to themselves by even releasing a demo, but hey, saves me money.

It didn't control nearly as well as the 40th Day. The 40th Day seemed to have much smoother aiming than this game did, and the camera is way too shaky when moving around in this game as well.

Well played my friend.
Why do other games die and this one still lives? WHYYYYY?!?!?!?!
Because you touch yourself when you watch anime.

Probably because they keep selling, regardless of the fact that they suck. I think there is a Kane & Lynch 3 in the works too...

These games suck compared to what? I've played one and 40 and loved the games. Yes I did only pay 12 for both, but I had as much fun co-oping these games as I have playing quite a few other "good" games. Try co-oping these games.
I say don't bother buying them at all if you don't have anyone to co-op with.

I paid $20 for Army of Two years ago and I think it was well worth that. I also bought The 40th Day for around $24.99 at Gamestop. I think that was a worthwhile purchase, too. I'll probably get this one when it sneaks down into the $30 range.

I also say that the visuals in The 40th Day still look incredible.
