(DEAD) Save 5$ off Oz the Great and Powerful for blu-ray with a 5$ coupon
That's the non-3d bluray. The 3d doesn't have the $5 off, and it comes with no DVD.
It may also not come with the 2D version of the movie as well, since it doesn't list "Blu-Ray" in the title text.

Movies like Wreck-It Ralph, Monsters Inc and Finding Nemo, all list "BluRay + BluRay 3D" or "BluRay + 3D" in the title text. That's showing that it's a combo 2D / 3D release on either the same disc or on different discs.

I'm hoping this is just a mistake off non-release cover art, though this may be a split release with a standalone 3D + DC version as well as a BD + DVD + DC version.

NOOOOOOO!!!

I preordered anyway just to be safe. Thanks OP. Hopefully it's a mistake like Shrike suggested it may be. I saw the film in IMAX 3D and enjoyed it. I'd prefer to buy the 3D version, but if there's no way to purchase the 3D version for $24.99 or less, I'll pass on any purchase.

There's a bit of stink about this title because as of now, it's coming in 4 versions:

1. 3D single disc edition
2. Blu Ray single disc edition
3. DVD single disc edition
4. Blu Ray and DVD edition

The other maddening thing is that the 3D edition, despite being a single disc release, still carries a $44.95 MSRP. So anyone, as of now, who wants the 3D edition will also have to pick up a second edition if they want to watch it without the 3D. Hopefully Disney fixes this. It'll be upsetting if they go from "5 Disc Special Edition" releases to this new "release strategy".

Do we know for a fact that the 3D version cannot be played in 2D? A lot of us bought the Samsung Shrek/Megamind 3D starter kit when they were on clearance at Best Buy (similar to this). Those movies were single discs with both 2D and 3D versions on them, though the packaging only mentioned 3D.
