I just bought a tablet and have been looking through the app store for the best games/apps to check out. I'm constantly finding new stuff though and can't find a good "best of" list anywhere. This is the closest I've found so far: http://android.zranks.com/

So anyway I want this to be a thread for the best Android apps/games available.

I just bought my tablet so I haven't played much, but I do have a starting list of games/apps that I've found which have at least a 4.7 rating in the app store. So below is what I have so far.

So any more that should be added (or removed for any reason)?

Dolphin Browser = Very good imo but it's also the only mobile browser I've tried.
Ninjump = not on the list. It was ok. Played it for about 10 minutes. I guess it's good if you're into the type of game
Diversion = fun...I wasted about half an hour on it
Subway Surfers = Also pretty fun and spent about half an hour playing it
Wind-Up Knight = Pretty fun kind of on the hard side. Will play it more later.
Bunny Shooter = Fun for a few levels then got too hard so I quit it. Have to be extremely precise with the aiming which made it more of a chore than anything
Into The Dead = Probably my second favorite so far. Very simple but fun
Granny Smith = Well worth the $2

Played a couple more games:

Catapult King = Very simple/fun, one of my favorites
The Room = Played it for about an hour so far. It's fun. Worth the $2.
Major Mayhem = Pretty awesome only played for about 10 minutes so far though

Also played 4 pics 1 word. Everyones already played it though I imagine. If not give it a shot it's pretty fun.

Super Hexagon and 10000000 are two of the best portable games I've ever played. Super Hexagon in particular is super addicting.

My recent purchases have been Cthulu Saves the World and Penny-Arcade Adventures 3. Both are good 16-bit RPG throwbacks, but I feel like I'm no longer into JRPGs like I used to be so ymmv.

Picked up Sonic CD for a dollar a few weeks (months?) Ago. Pretty solid port of a good Sonic game. If only the same team ported the Genny Sonic games.

McPixel was OK. Dumb fun but it wore out its welcome after a few hrs.

Apps? Pocket Casts isn't free, but is a pretty good replacement for podcasts on your Android device.
