Injustice or Dead Space 3?

CAGiversary!
Just finished B:I and am looking to grab one of these guys. Both seem to be getting pretty solid marks. Haven't played a fighter in some time but liked the Injustice demo. Enjoyed the DS3 demo as well. Haven't played either of the previous DS games. Any suggestions or guidance?

I'd say Injustice, but I'm heavily biased towards fighters and haven't played Dead Space 3. I'd imagine if you get into playing it online or with friends, it'll give you more bang for the buck

If you haven't played either of the DS games, there's no point jumping directly into the third, unless you're a gamer who skips the story/cutscenes.

I would buy Dead Space 1 and 2, or if you have people to play with (online or offline) I'd get Injustice.

You could always play random people online, but I think you'll get a lot more out of the game if you have someone else to play with on a consistent basis.

u kind of have to play the 1st two dead space to have a better idea of whats happening in ds3. Also the 1st two dead spaces are a lot better then the 3rd one in my opinion.

So unless ur gonna get the older dead space first on the cheap then go for ds3 if not then just go injustice

both dead space with full DLC is like $65 which is really good.
i played about an hour of dead space 3 didn't like it to much.
i've platinum DS1 and working on DS2 damn hardcore mode is no joke
injustice is nice though.
toysrus may have them both on the 2 for $70 right now i think

I'm pretty biased (as you can tell), and pretty new (as you can tell), but, I'd say to go with Injustice. But, that's mostly if you're a big fan of A.) fighters and B.) DC Comics. Otherwise, it might get a little stale to you.

The constant DLC (skins and everything else) are all little nods and winks to the more hardcore comic fans -- especially the two new skin packs released yesterday -- and made me one big, happy camper. I don't regret a penny that I've sunk into it thus far (unless the Zod rumour rings true).

Either way, Dead Space 3 is a pretty fun game all things considered. Definitely don't go into it having not played the other two Dead Spaces, though, or you'll get left in the dust as far as the campaign goes.

Final Opinion: Injustice, all the way.

Well above all, ask yourself which you want to play more. If you're okay with a so so shooter, then Dead Space 3 is your choice, but if you rather test yourself with a fighter... then Injustice.

With that being said, Dead Space 3 is pretty terrible. They kept a lot of the rigid gameplay from the earlier more survival horror versions and tried to make it slightly more of a tactical shooter. Despite what people said before and what you might think, you won't miss out on a lot by not playing 1 and 2, though don't expect the story to make complete sense to you. However, I felt that 3 had a terrible story and the gameplay was only so so. Now a days I don't suspect many people are playing online and the ones who are, probably have the devil horns and will over power every situation. Also there isn't a lot of replayablity, since the side modes suck.

Injustice isn't the best fighter, but it's certainly solid. The addition of SF controls was a welcomed addition and the future DLC doesn't look completely awful. With all the sales and strong lean towards fandom, it is without a doubt better than Dead Space 3.

Dead Space 3 is a great game but don't start the series with it. Dead Space 1 is way cheaper and is the best game in the series anyway.

with all of the DLC injustice is getting why not wait for an ultimate version. Its the same company that made Mortal kombat and it got an ultimate version. play DS 1 and DS 2 for cheap until DS3 drops and Injustice comes out with an ultimate version.

Which is true. The only problem is that DLC might be coming out for the next year, at least. Ed Boon even said that it's less than likely that there's going to be only four characters. By the time an ultimate edition comes out, the online community might be all but dead.

But, hey. If you don't care about playing online, I'd suggest to snatch up DS 1 and 2 for cheap and play through them; 3 won't stay all that pricey for long. Its reception wasn't all that well praised, aside from paid reviews.

I'd go for Injustice unless you are buying Dead Space 3 used.

Dead Space isn't worth the packing materials, and at leas buying used means Gamestop gets the money, not EA.

Prob could get all three Dead Space games for the price of Injustice IMO. Finished Injustice, great story. Dead Space 1 & 2 were fun. Sort of gave me the feelings Resident Evil 2 gave me as a child. Intense and a sense of semi-crapping my pants. Survival action vs. fighting. really up to your preference.

I don't want to give those two companies any of my money they both suck.
