Was recently at Target and spotted :360:Star Trek at a new low price of $19.99.

Unfortunately, the PS3 version was still marked at full price.

I'm pretty sure this is the cheapest I've seen this game and it's only been out for a little over a month.

Well that was quick if it dropped to $20 in a month maybe next month it will be $10. Thanks OP but ill wait until its $10 game seems fun enough for $10.

Maybe when it drops to 5, maybe...it's looking like one of the worst Trek games yet and there have been some very terrible ones released over the years.

Thanks op. Not bad. I would grab it if I had time to play it now. Since it would go in the backlog I'll wait since it shoud be that price or better everywhere soon.

Probably want to add "YMMV" in the title, I just stopped by my Target (Miami, FL) and had them scan the 360 version which still shows up as $59.99 on both their register scanner as well as the self-scanner found throughout the store.
Anyone else feel that this game kinda plays or resembles mass effect? For that reason alone I wanna give it a try.
Don't get your hopes up. I rented it at release, thank god. It's an aweful cash-in. You might think it isn't so bad 2-3 levels in but, It dive bombs after that. It isn't worth your time.

Agree. Same thing when I scanned at my Target in San Diego a few minutes ago.

Ditto here in Troy, MI, full price, YMMV

Saw Star Trek for the 360 for this price finally this afternoon at a store in Burbank, CA. Maybe it just took a day for them to catch up with pricing.

Captain, our sensors are picking up a massive price drop. It appears to be consistent with a poorly-executed, licensed cash-in.

Look, by no means could you call this a good game, but it's playable and has some fun moments - and if you liked the new Star Trek movies, it's a cool little tie-in. I rented it from Redbox, but if I hadn't, I'd pay $20 for it. Don't pay any more than that, but I would say $20 isn't out of the question.

I got it. Me and the wife went and saw the movie and loved it and now we are playing the game together. So far pretty fun, so I'm confused were all the hate is coming from...

Try purchasing it for $59.99 + tax and you will see.

$20......why not????  $20 is my price point at games these days, so I picked one up at my local Target.  I also got a coupon that printed out for "Buy 2 games get 30% off".  I hope a B2G1 is in the future.....

It's in fashion to hate games. Too bad really. There are so many games this generation that I really enjoyed, but got a lot of hate on the internet. Star Trek is one of these. Not great, but it is fun in bursts.

Nope. I care not for fashion. I regularly enjoy games that have not gotten great or even good reviews. I have played Brink (ok, it's pretty bad, but I got my $5 worth of enjoyment out of it). My theory is that I can get $5 of enjoyment out of just about anything.

Star Trek is not worth $5.

I'll repeat what I posted about it a while back... I rented it from Redbox with a free rental code and felt like I got ripped off. It just doesn't have any redeeming qualities. It has truly horrible controls. Its AI is all A and no I (you run into this in the first 5 minutes of the game, this is not something that takes a while to realize). The graphics are mediocre at best, with clipping and other glitches apparent right from the start. And the plot/license is laughably bad.

I like Star Trek and think the new movies are great. This game is bad bad bad.

This game is way better than Brink. The storys fun, the game looks good even with glithes every once in a while but it does look the film, and for goodness sake I got my wife who only plays Disney and Lego Games to play it. I also have noticed that with the whole world getting into nerd culture, that people seem to love to tear down anything they can, the new Iron Man or Star Trek movie, Xbox One, even the ending of Mass Effect. No one seems to be able to just enjoy the plethura of great things out there because theres always something new out there to hate. I think I'll blame the interweb....(waits for some to yell at me and tell me I don't know what I'm talking about in 3,2,1...)

That settles it. Since your wife plays it it's the game of the year. Not Tomb Raider. Not Bioshock Infinite. Star Trek game of the year.

The interweb never lets me down! Didn't say it was game of the year, but I did say it was a fun continuation of the films and that my wife likes it. Excuse me for defending a game in the post about said game, your the one that came to a post about a game you don't like. Interweb annonimoty strikes again...

How dare you defend a game that you played and actually can give an opinion about. I for one think I might go pick it up at this price, still on the fence since the stores have A LOT of these available.

Confirmed here in Frisco, TX. Stopped by and grabbed a copy after work. Price tag showed $19.99, with a yellow price cut popup.

Had this price matched at BB. Took a pic of the shelf tag manager give it the ok. With 5$ retail me not coupon and a reward cert out the door for $5 and change :)

Guys really just rent it if you want to play it that much, Its only around 5 hours long and very meh. Not worth $20 at all imo.

Game is terrible, I ran into game stopping bugs by like the 4th mission. I gave up after that and I was just playing for the story.
