Podcast Patent

I know Cheapy had brought this up before in a CAGcast months ago, but after listening to Planet Money and This American Life today, it really grinds my gears. The US patent system is clearly broken and patent trolls are out of control. Apparently there are currently 5 bills trying to do something about it.

I'm just curious if Cheapy has received a letter from this guy. I know he said he hadn't when he talked about it before, but who knows. The guy is probably still after the really big fish right now. Not sure we as podcast listeners can do much about it other than research the 5 bills currently in congress and write our representatives.

I don't think this has merit given he had only combined things that had already been created.  Audio tapes, sending mail, recording the audio...none of this is new.
