Civilization 5: Brave New World preorder: $20.25

How major is this expansion? GandK started at like 30 and ending up in 12 bucks in a Steam sale 6 months later. I love Civ5, but 20+ bucks seems high.

Thanks for the info! I definitely want the expansion on release day. Looks like the coupon is good until the 14th so I will wait a few days to see if Amazon PCDD will do anything to match or trump this.

Not sure you're going to see Amazon PCDD trump $20.25 on launch day, tbh.

 
Daddy likey. I started playing again after a long hiatus. I was planning on going to sleep at 11PM, I said oh I'll just play one more turn... three hours later I finally went to sleep.

Downloaded Steam's free weekend version on Thursday evening, next thing I kno, it's 5:30 AM and starting to get light outside. Decided I probably should save and get some sleep, but the game wouldn't let me save. Turns out I was still playing the tutorial, which disables game saving.

I played the tutorial for 11 straight hours.

Gold version bought, BNW preordered. Mildly upset that I waited this long...haven't played a Civ since III.
