Maybe we'll get more traffic now. People should be going to this thread in the mistaken belief that they'll get actual CAG 3.0 update news.

I made the mistake of posting in the official thread, and now that's all my notifications are. (And the notifications make sound? F that)

Dark theme looks good.

Cleaned and put in new thumbsticks in my 360 controllers. Feel brand newish.

Android's OS level achievements and such are live now in some games, but I'm not seeing any sort of central app to keep track of all of that stuff like there is for Apple's Game Center.

 
The only thing I'm playing now on android is Simpsons Tapped Out. Occasionally Puzzles & Dragons.

Started 100000 last night.

Recommendations?

Well 3.0 let me change my username so I like it. Was thinking of trying to snag "IAmTheCheapestGamer" but decided against it.
All the AVGN episodes I've been watching have made me want to get into TMNT.
 
Fable III is free right now at xbox.com. It's not the best, but kind of fun.

500 dollars for that new circle is too much. That quadruple needs to be 400. Sony should kick the shit out of MS like they did SEGA back in the day.
 
Titanfall was the best game shown. Still not interested in the xboxone until the explain the used game stuff and after a price drops or two.

LOL, CAG 3.0 looks terrible. Seems much more tablet friendly though. Are annimooted avatars gone?

I need a recommendation for a grandpa cam. Something with both live IP streaming and motion activated recording to memory card. Don't need PTZ, but not a deal breaker. If anyone has any exp or a reccomendation I'd really appreciate it. Having "inconsistencies" with private help, vs hospice and delivery of certain services when we aren't home.

I think I may order two gtx 650 Ti Boosts tonight and upgrade my PC over the weekend. It would cost $300, replace my 460 GTX SLI, and I'd get $150 in cash for Hawken, Planetside 2 and World of Tanks.

It seems like a good time to upgrade. The next gen of graphics cards are a little ways off and will be much more expensive. The 650 boost had a 192-bit bus, 2 GB of ram, and would upgrade to Direct x 11 w/ Physx.

 
Titanfall will also be coming out for PC. So you can get your fix there.

I was disappointed at the MS conference. There was only a couple things that interested me. Seeing the new multiplayer platform in action, the twitch tv stuff looked fantastic, and Titanfall looked cool. Otherwise it was Meh. I mean, spending $500 to play World of Tanks. Really?

I expected the One to be $500. I would have been impressed if it was $400. My thinking was the new Kinext is going to add $100 to the price of the console no matter what. So $400 + $100 = $500. I expect the quad to be $400.

Yep. Chances are I'm done with Xbox/gaming consoles. I'll probably make a steambox and use a 360 controller. Steam's sales are great, and I don't mind playing older games where I can use old-ish hardware.

Well, I just pulled the trigger on those 650 Boosts. Cost me $360 shipped but with $20 in rebates and $150 in F2P cash it's a pretty sweet deal. Will definitely blow the doors off my 460's.

 
This thing is BARELY working for me. I can't quick reply and all kinds of other issues. :lmao: XOne is going to get stomped by Sony if they put any effort in sticking it to Microsoft. $500, crappy used game system and their spy cameras are pissing people off left and right.

Even if Sony comes in at $500 but keeps their free online play and has a better used game system they'll win this war with ease.

P.S. Who remembers me? OTT is more dead than ever, so my reappearance should be welcomed! I'm back, children...back again...

 
They could follow suit and very well may, but a lower price point and maintaining their free online play gives them a big edge. Not even mentioning the everlasting camera that nearly 0.000000002% of the population likes the idea of.

 
$500 is definitely overpriced.

Whats the OTT think of Skyfall?  Its on sale for $12 at Target this week and I'm considering the blind buy, even though I wasnt a huge fan of Casino Royale of QoS. 

 
I like Skyfall, though I find it hard to justify buying movies nowadays. Is it available from Redbox or anything like that?

Skyfall is the worst bond movie I've seen. Why would you even consider it if you didn't enjoy the other two that much?

I didn't realize those cards were as solid as they are. That should be a pretty nice upgrade. I love my 670's (fucking Crysis 3 made me upgrade to a second card).

I really enjoyed Casino Royale. Didn't mind QoS as much as everyone else did. Skyfall pissed me off. It was good, but there was too much stupid shit thrown in your face instead of just being subtle about some things. Not to be too spoilery but if they made a reference to a previous Bond, it seemed as if they couldn't just leave it at the reference, they had to elbow nudge you and go, "Eh? Eh? Remember that thing? Remember? Eh? Pretty clever of us, huh?"

I will say I find the PS4 conference a better conference. They're showcasing a lot of games that aren't exclusive, but I'm really interested in learning more about.

Well MS dun goofed. Going PS4 this gen. 100.00 cheaper and DRM free. You'd have to be LinkinPrime to stick with Xbox at this point.
