I'm gold. It shows up as $20. But click the buy button anyways, then click pay with microsoft points. It showed up as free on this screen and I am downloading the game now! Thank you OP for this post!

I used the points route. Switch to points and press confirm and you will get one more confirmation page. Last confirmation page is where you will see it for free.

That happened to me too. Now it's stuck at 4%. Seems to be going, just very slow.
