FLCL Alternative and Progressive are $10 each for DVD today at Best Buy. Am I missing out on anything major if I get those instead of the blurays?

Checked out the new Sentai Labor Day sale. I saw My Love Story Premium set was $19.99. Don’t know if that’s ever been that cheap, but it seems like a hell of a discount.
It's been that price the last few sales. Very enjoyable series. Already got the regular version during a bf sale; otherwise, I would pick up the premium ver for $20.

Not a deal, but how is it that I only recently found out that two new Case Closed movies were released, with a new English dub?
I bought both basically as soon as I became aware of them, and they're not bad. I'll miss the old voices, but this new version isn't hampered by forced localization.

I picked up JoJo LE sets 2 & 4 for $29.99 and $34.99. Had already been looking at them during this Target B2G1 sale but they are still hovering at around $55-60.

The prime time to buy anime was back when this site was relevant. Is this really that much of a surprise to you kids?
You are not wrong, while some deals still crop up, it feels like the world shrank. The crazy broad sales seem few and far between.

Comparing my wish list to last year, some of these are a little cheaper than ever. Others have gone up in price (so mad at myself for not grabbing Girls' Last Tour back when it was $10). Some nice premium box set prices as well.
Happy to see Sentai is getting Ascendance of a Bookworm S1+S2 next year.

Thanks! I was considering a couple of those as well, but I grabbed some of the premium editions I had been waiting to go back on sale first so I wouldn't miss out. I double dipped on Chihayafuru S1+S2 premiums, already had the standard, but I really enjoyed the series. I forget what price they were at the lowest, but at the current price I didn't mind much.
Log Horizon, unfortunately, like quite a few series I've watched never got endings (D.Grayman for one). It's sad after building all the lore and characters so well, but I guess it's better than rushing to a conclusion that fans would hate. Not anime, but looking at you GoT.
