Animation cels from Darkstalkers OAV

Hi all,
 
Posted more animation cels on eBay. This time I have cels up from one of my all-time favorite video game series: Darkstalkers! I really miss that level of creativity and quirkiness from Capcom.

Wow, the Morrigan cel is pretty nice.

Thanks! Cels of Morrigan are pretty hard to come by, she's very popular.

I've also added some He-Man and She-Ra cels to the listings as well.

Im very late to the party but do you per chance have any of the darkstalkers or street fighter cels up for sale? Im sure by now they have all been sold but I figured Id ask. I havent been in the cel collecting game for a while and have been looking around again. It seems its become even harder to find cels of these series anymore. Im glad I still have mine.

Unfortunately, I have sold off all of my Darkstalkers and Street Fighter cels. My collection is quite small now, I've been whittling it down for several years now.

It seems like collecting now is more than difficult than it was a while back, as you point out. I'm not sure if people are hoarding cels or if the weak cel market is causing people to hold on to their collection in hopes of value appreciation once the market springs back. High end American animation has remained rather consistent but with the implosion of Japanese cultural exports (anime is not what it once was) JP cels do not fetch the prices they once did.

Its okay. I actually forgot about it. A reason its taken me so long to respond as well. Thats a shame (for me) you sold them all already. I think Ive seen your collection on rubberslug although I may be mistaken. I figured it wouldnt take you too long to sell them all since they are so rare anymore and of good quality shots. 

With most cartoons going the digital route, no new cels are really being made and the depreciation of the market for them has lowered so it makes it harder to come by. Most people dont even know you can buy animation cels so its a very small niche market. I agree newer anime has kind of lost its flavor that it once had. Its kind of ironic how alot of people spent 1000s of dollars on that one dragonball z cel and now can barely sell it for $200 now. 

With the link you provided, I cant seem to determine what you have for sale, whats sold and what is still available. It still has alot of the amazing DS and SF cels in there. 

Btw, are there any cels you have kept and will always keep? I guess you can call them the prized possession cels?
