watch your credit card statements..

I just got a  statement today with 79 bucks in charges 

been on the phone with best buy for the past 3 hours and they have no clue what the fuck they are doing..

they said i had no charges  from best buy on this card since  2011 and have no clue where these 79 bucks  are coming from 

so i just called up my credit card company and disputed them all

but even if someone took it.. why wouldnt the charges show

say your credit card number is

aaa aaa aaaa aaaa

you get your statement and it says you own xxxx

you call up the company that the charges are from and give you your number

wouldnt they be able to see those charges on those days

i have 5 charges on JUNE 8 2013

yet when i give them the number the charges were made to it says the card has NOT been used since 2011

more like their system fucked up and charging me for items in the past...

i love the first charge

what the hell was that for and why the hell would i charge 50 cents LOL

glad i got gift card cause after this I WILL NEVER TRUST BEST BUY with any credit card numbers... I mean they cant even find simple transactions what kind of fucked up company is this

why would i have to call up my credit card for best buy charges... my credit card company cant get into best buys computers..

also i did that first...got a phone call from best buy Saying they STILL CAN NOT FIND THESE CHARGES that no charges on this card was made since 2012 it may be a computer glitch........ they can just pay my 29% interest for the next 18 months on the 0% i had then

Is there one retailer with whom you have done business and didn't have some sort of problem? Just one? Maybe you should stop paying for things with credit, and use cash instead.

You got Slidecaged! Lol! Beat me to it. In all seriouseness you need to do as another poster recommended as in set alerts to notify you of charges being made to your card. Monitor your account routinely and if you suspect fradulent charges being made to your account then immediately notify your credit card company and get a new card. Check your credit history as well just to be safe that no other funny business is going on.

Yeah, slidecage got slidecaged. I still question whether he (and his antics) are actually an accurate representation of a real person. There's just a part of me that can't quite believe it... lol

was confirmed by best buy their systems fucked up and are charging people for orders in the past... they found the charges and the charges are from MAY to AUG 2012 they go please allow 7 to 10 days to have them removed .....

can anyone tell me  why  a  credit card company would report it  as  identify thief,  when the company  that is doing the charging can  NOT even find the  charges in their system... LOL 

capital one  wrote it all off as   id

I bought best buy credit and cust omer service charge on seperate three statements on mail in my box with all authorized best buy no charges

The only reason credit card is in existence is to take cash from people, legally or illegaly. Other reasons like it'll be useful for people or anything else are just secondary. Wherever in the world you are, you just have to be cautious with credit card companies. I have worked in credit card bpo and I have seen their fraudulent activities from closer :)
