Question on Target's Pre-Order Process

So I picked up a Disney Infinity pre-order card last week when they were running the $10 off promo.

The card says I'll receive a free figure and power coin when I pick up the game.

Anyone familiar with the process know how this will work? Will I pick a figure off the shelf and present it to the cashier at checkout or will they have a selection behind the counter for me to pick out of?

The way I believe it will be working at my store (I work at BestBuy) is we will get in a decent amount of promo items to give to people that pre-order the game.

That is only a guess as I have not been told exactly how it will work but generally that is the normal way.
