All 3rd party sellers...

Is it common for 3rd party sellers, on Amazon, to reseal used games to sell as "Brand new"? Something I've experienced with the "mega" eBay store sellers (it even had the V-fold). I trust Gamer Joe selling their game "Brand new" more than 3rd party stores online.

It all depends on the seller. I have bought a number of new games from 3rd parties that arrive new. I have also had the occasional new game show up as an obviously resealed used game. My daughter bought a 3ds game a few weeks ago from a 3rd party that was listed as new but when the game arrived there were already 2 saved games on the cart.

My point is you never know but if you check the ratings you can usually get a good idea of who is legit and who is not.
