Maybe it was only for certain provinces?

I checked at least 4 seperate times, and no go. I'm in Ontario.

No, they just ran out of codes. They had 11,500. The codes didn't last long, due in part to things like this:

Cool beans. supermonkeyballer just spent 8 hours of his time typing a series of letters and numbers on a computer in order to get 6k worth of MS points (roughly, what, $65 if you buy from crazygametime?). If he, uh, actually had a job and was a contributing member of society, he'd earn more than that doing basic data entry; y'know, typing a series of letters and numbers on a computer...? Certainly enough to buy the points outright, and score a 12-pack of Mountain Dew Code Red and a couple of bags of Cheetos on top of it.

It's like the Extreme Coupon-ing disease... people will spend 12 hours clipping 'effing coupons so that they can save $45 at the grocery store.
