Hmm.. Not sure if I want to jump on some Dismey characters now or wait until I actually buy the game and hope they become cheaper by then.

Seriously? "Special amber goggles unlockable on select Sunkist packages"? Is this what gaming has become? Buy a soft drink to unlock a meaningless feature in a game? And even if the feature is worthless, why do I have to buy a soft drink to access it? If it's unlockable, it's on the disc. Why is disc content, on a disc we're paying full MSRP for, restricting content to customers who don't buy a soft drink?

Just making a buck.  I agree its lame but I would prefer that over spending extra money for an in game item that gives you an edge or so you can keep up with others that have wasted money.

My girlfriend and I might have to jump on the Cars and Lone Ranger playsets. That game is going to get expensive real quick.

Nice that the $199 Vita deal is back. Apply for that free Target Red Card for a 5% discount as well.

I am very tempted with that $199 Vita deal. The only think keeping me from getting it is the memory stick. Does it come with one? Because I heard they are very expensive. Also should I just hold out til Black Friday to get a Vita?

I`d purchase now but prepared to return/rebuy if a better deal comes. Not sure if target would allow a return if opened though. So price match at Bestbuy and if you're silver that's 60 days to return/rebuy so that get's until early october.
The price drop.will come this yr per sony along will memory card drops too but you will see some new game bundles & maybe a mem card too. There's also the $50-$100 GC deals as well.

As tempting as this is with Ys Celceta coming out next month, I think I'll wait for Black Friday for bundle deals. Would have bought one if it was $150 now though.

Tempted to get a vita now.  But would probably regret it during black friday, when they are all but guaranteed to be $200, plus extras or even cheaper.

Will be price matching the Disney Infinity Play Sets at Best Buy on release day since I have gift cards. Anyone see this as a problem since it is day of release for the product?

No, unless there are no Target stores near you, at all, haha.

Yeah, it seems like most games now a days are always trying to squeeze you for an extra dollar..

I'll be in at least for the Cars Infinity pack. Already have the Lone Ranger set on order through Best Buy. I doubt they'll last too long at half off their ridiculous retail price.

Edit: It's still upsetting to me that they missed so many (all) of the classics. This would have sold ridiculously well with the Disney Princesses/Lion King/Aladdin/Little Mermaid etc...seems like such a missed opportunity. Maybe for the sequel I guess.

I'm also confused as to why they'd release the Toy Story characters in wave 2 instead of the first. They're obviously the biggest names in the game. I guess to keep the hype up and the product moving.

I am going to be all over the Infinity playsets for half off. Hopefully I can PM at TRU and combiner it with their 20% off Infinity coupon on their website.

They still have pre order cards out for Infinity, and you get a free pack of power discs  if you pick it up  at release. I think you get the $5 gift card too.

I was giving serious thought in getting the Infinity game set and all.  However it's 75 dollars, then characters are $13 or so.  I can see this becoming super expensive super fast.  lol  I would have to get the Cars set for my son, I want the Incredibles characters.  Wouldn't be so bad if there wasn't a new system launching so soon.  And GTAV as well.  AND it's the week Splinter Cell drops.

If all color DualShock 3 controllers are on sale the pink will be $24.99 after $10.00 off GCU coupon.

maybe it will stack with the pink controller, if the coupon is still active by then, and if the pink controller is also on sale.

Great. So it looks like the Disney Infinity things are going to be even more expensive than Skylanders.

if those power disc and figure prices are correct, BB has finally joined TRU and is charging $1 more than msrp.

It should. The coupons expire 8/31. This would be just like the games that go onsale and use the coupon. You cant PM + coupon, but a Best Buy sale + coupon isnt double dipping. $25 for a pink DS3 would be sweet. I dont think i have seen many DS3 at $30

unless you are counting about used controller at amazon warehouse. but new ds3 has never been that low, the lowest price it had been was $34.99. If bestbuy actually let this stack, it would make the $15 unlocked membership fee totally worth it.

Well that's a bit early for next week ad. Guess there's nothing special being given out for SRIV. Time to use my $100 RZC on something now.
