I was so close to buying Black Lagoon last week along with Casshern Sins when it dropped to $15. Glad I decided to wait.

Came to post this ha.  Pissed I overpaid on Black Lagoon months ago by $6 but I'll make up for it with Helsing.

Very good deal on Hellsing Ultimate Set 1 & 2.  Never see it go under $25.  End up bought them both for $42 - $22.XX credits = under $20 Shipped.  Possible Funimation will Re-release complete collection  without dvd combo pack in future  (maybe around October or next year) for low price

Man, that is such a killer price for FMA: Brotherhood for both collections.  I bought both of them at $30 a piece a year ago and the picture and sound quality is just superb.  Not to mention that Brotherhood is simply a stunning adaptation of the source material - one of the best, if not the best, that exists.

Edit:  On another note, I wonder if I should bite on Hellsing Ultimate.  These do look like great prices, but with the last few episodes not on Blu yet, I wonder if we'll see a complete edition in the future.  Hmm...decisions, decisions.

The FMA: Brotherhood Collections are not BD/DVD combo packs, just BD's. Even if they released a complete collection, it's unlikely that it'll be less than $50 for it

This is a bit of a sensitive question, but I hope you guys can answer it:

On the Black Lagoon product page, Amazon's Editorial Review mentions "offensive religious imagery". Can anyone who's watched it say what this might be referring to?

Would it be a good idea to jump on Dragon Ball? I don't really follow this stuff to good and don't wanna buy them if some other edition is due out.
Only thing in the works right now are the DBZ blus, and that's still kind of in question atm.

Funi has no plans as of right now for any other releases for DB series, so you should be okay.

I ordered up Black Lagoon and the Dragon Ball movies, will think about FMA:B today and perhaps order those as well.

I believe they have a survey running for whether or not consumers would buy a BD release, if that counts.

That's basically what I was referring to. They had canceled it once already back in January, but recently brought it back with the survey in June, but really no actual results, or responses yet from the survey yet, so it's kind of in limbo atm.

Picked up everything dragonball, as I never got to watch the whole thing as a kid when it was airing on cartoon network. Also got both brotherhood sets. My wallet hates me right now...

is Hellsing any good?

also how many episodes does it have?

I read only that it only has 10 overall is that true?
They're basically OVAs, so they range from about 40 minutes to an hour per episode, depending on each episode, and so far Funi only has the first 8 licensed in the two sets, so you would have to wait for IX and X to come out in a set to complete the series.
