I actually like the look of the LBP case but I've read user reviews on Amazon saying it's super snug on the Vita and the zipper rubs on the side of the system.

 
Get the $4- $5 one off new egg  or amazon. It is fantastic and won't screw up your Vita. I love it.

Can't go back to just playing it regularly. Especially in games like Soul Sacrifice where you play for extended periods. If you're only playing for like 1-2 hours then I wouldn't bother buying anything because my hands only got really cramped after a fair amount of playing.

That looks pretty good for someone who just wants the extra grip. The Nyko Powergrip adds extra battery life. It worked excellent, but I stopped using it for a month or 2 and the battery of the power grip no longer keeps a charge. I got mine from Amazon Warehouse and when I didn't use it, I had left it plugged into my Vita during that time. Maybe that is what screwed it up? That is my biggest gripe about this item, and it seems like a good amount of people on Amazon had the same issue (in the reviews). I still use it for the grip though.

That looks pretty good. That cheap one doesn't look like it would do much. I am worried about the battery dying, though. Then you have a grip, but it will be heavier than necessary. I think I'd rather it was just a grip, no extra battery

 
Yeah the fear is the battery dying. The benefit of the extended battery would be awesome. I have many nights where I am in the middle of a Soul Sacrifice session and the battery on the Vita is drained. It would be awesome to not have to plug the Vita into the charger. I would get the nyko grip but the battery life is very worrisome.
