Off the top of my head, we have-
 
CCH Pounder coming in, another shield alum!
 
Donal Logue will be back for at least half a seasons worth of ep's or more.
 
Jimmy Smits is back as Nero and wont be the nice guy we saw last season and supposedly makes the jump back into "the game".

I say meh to CCH Pounder coming on board, perhaps it was just the writing but she basically played the character/storyline I cared the least about during the Shield's run (well maybe Danny too...).

Now that Vegas is cancelled if they were going to bring in a Shield alum should've just grabbed Michael Chiklis... That'd be fun.

I would rather see Chiklis and Shawn Ryan team back up than see him on Sons. I am pretty much done with this show. It just isn't nearly as interesting as it should be, and last season really sucked. I think it took me about a month to finally get around to watching the finale.

I agree on last season, I was certainly finding more I disliked than liked about it in the end. And the pacing was way off IMO. It seemed like it took several episodes too many to accomplish a relatively simple and straightforward story line.

I'm not too keen on the Shawn Ryan front though. Truth be told the Shield and the short-lived Terriers where the only two things I liked from him (and I don't even think he wrote for the Terriers). IMO Chicago Code and Last Resort were pretty bad failures.

 
I think what everyone really wants to know is...

Will Donal Logue be keeping the grisly 19th century beard he currently sports on Copper for SoA Season 6?

Nothing new other than Season 5 on dvd and blu comes out tomorrow. Seems like Target has the best deal at 29.99 for blu and 24.99 for dvd.

 
Just finished watching shows 2 and 3. Im really interested to see what happens with Trig. Does he rat on Jax and tell those guys after him that Jax killed Pope and it wasnt Clay? Or will he just die. I kind of like Trig so i would hate to see him die.

Man i kind of felt sad for Clay, and i was really surprised he said he wasnt giving that US Marshall any info, and he just wanted to say he was sorry. After that i was hoping he wouldnt die. Even though all the shit he caused personally.

I didnt really like hearing that Tara was pregnant. I already hate the whole female drama in the show, and having to drag the two kids around the show. I like the show for the Biker club, not the soap opera half of it. Not only that but now the Ex GF is back and faking her bruises, she might be up to something knowing that she could get custody of the kids now. That part of the show i really dont care about.

I'm the same way. I really liked last season, but this season hasn't grabbed me yet at all. I'm really over the Tara bullshit. The Bobby stuff this year has been pointless so far, just him sitting around circling stuff on a map. I want more motorcycle gang action and less of the soap opera bullshit.

All the hype leading up to this season made it seem like there was a ton of knock your socks off action going down but so far meh. Even the shooting in the opener didnt blow my mind.

 
I know Im not the only one that saw that coming at the clubhouse this week? I didnt know "how" but I saw something heading that way after the kings talked to Galen.

 
I watched the last 2 shows yesterday and wow things are really starting to pick up. The 2nd to last episode almost felt like it was the season finale! lol. I like how otto went out, but he probably did more damage to the club than good. I also like the direction clay is going, helping out the club, not giving up any shit. I really hope he is doing good, and not thinking about only himself.

 
Before the end of the show. Id love to see a random moment when Gemma is driving down the road and comes to a stop by pulling up next to a dirty ass dodge car and look over and see Al, Kelly and Bud...no funny moment other than the 3 of them in the car.

 
Im not really a fan of the venus character, and i hope tig dont get interested in her.

But i am really glad to see Bobby back in the club and it looks like the guys side of things is starting to come together. But now we have all this Gemma, Tara BS to watch. I dont even know what tara is trying to do. I know she dont want her kids around gemma. But i was wondering if she tricked jax into signing over custody of the kids along with the restraining order.

I really hope Eli can point the evidence to Turic before that justice woman can get Tara or Nero into trouble pinning stuff on them that isnt true.

There later down the road i think the whole irish/clay thing will come back to hurt the club once we get passed all this stuff.

 
Have to say I slacked on season 5 because the previous two weren't so good but it really has gotten better. Caught up through season 6 this month and excited to see it weekly again. Tara is nuts.
 
Cant wait for the big finale next week. Wonder what will happen. I think chibs asked jax if that black lady was going to take the bait. Also Jax still wants tara to not go to jail. So i dont know what to think about those things but there should be a swerve or two. Maybe even clay getting killed. But i think the irish dude, gailin? will end up either dead or in jail.

Wow the last episode was just insane. I love this show!!!!! I really hope tara doesnt try to turn the club in and Jax and Gemma work things out with her. Jax is so close to getting things straight, she should have more faith in him. Still two shows left, but idk if they can top what just happened.

I think sutter will try and throw us for a loop but I think she saw the progress that was being made by Jax trying to make the MC legit across the board and I think she may cave.

 
Great episode this week. It just sucks that we have to wait two weeks until the next new one.

I hope Jax figures out something to do about the Chinese. They still have Happy.

I'd say the villain is everyone's inability to tell the whole truth.  Just about every issue on the show  is a result of a secret not being shared and someone taking actions based on misinformation only to have the secret revealed  and leading to more issues.

I am very disappointed in how the season finale ended. I dont even know where they will go with this next season. I mean will jax still go to jail? I am guessing somehow he wont. I thought maybe since juice knows he is a dead man he will say he killed tara and gemma will hide yet another secret.  But i hate how they killed tara off. Then that one lady was looking at jax at the end like maybe he killed them. I dont know, just very disappointed in the season finale. My guess is next season will be focused around the mexican gangs and gemma/nero.

 
This season just basically convinced me to longer bother with this show. It still has bright spots but it's also devolved to the point where it often smacks of lazy, ego-stroking writing. With the finale it's like Kurt Sutter just invents reasons (and actually highly predictable ones) to keep his wife's character on the show and her role relevant to the plot somehow. All this while tossing out the talents of some of the better actors (Rockmond Dunbar for example...)

Well i heard that Rockmand Dunbar is becoming a regular on the mentalist, and it seems like that might have played into why he was killed off. Tara is pregnant in real life, not sure how that would effect taping for next season, but sutter said he planned to kill her off early this season.

During the anarchy afterward he talked about how in the opening scene someone was doing dishes in the same sink where tara was drowned in. I didnt even catch that when i watched it. Too bad they didnt drain the sink before the end. lol

The first thing I thought of when I saw him show up on Mentalist was "good for him, two shows at once". Little did i know....

Funny thing is that he's a FBI agent on mentalist, so i guess he got a promotion from Sherrif

Eww.. well if he's going to be on the Mentalist then I guess I won't be watching him in anything else any time soon. Do like him as an actor and good to know he's got other work I guess.

Still terrible showrunning & writing this season IMO though...

But remember when Nero was talking to Jax about the whole karma thing. Im starting to think that Jax will think that Nero had something to do with killing Tara and Eli. Man I really cant stop thinking about that season finale. Everyday i think a little about it. Really cant wait for next season.

That's kind of a leap, Nero takes care of transsexual prostitutes like family, I don't think anyone will believe is going to kill an innocent mother. The Chinese with whom he just aligned himself, perhaps... Though Iike i said I won't investment much into it but I honestly think the blame will land on Juice pretty quickly though, Jax gave him that Fredo moment just before and it seemed like a witness saw him dump the evidence.
