Wombat: "Did I say Aragorn? I always say it wrong."
No, Wombat. You said it right.

I thought so, but I also know that I have mistakenly said Aragon at times too. Sometimes I just confuse myself.

Cheapy you need to take Tai to see a movie at the cinema (theatre)! He would completely love it I can tell. I don't even remember the first movie I ever saw in cinemas; maybe his could be Pacific Rim or Despicable Me 2?

Time to Kickstart "Wombatnado" and get it on SyFy and Stretch Fund a game and regular series tie in. Executive produced by Cheapy and directed by Shipwreck. I see it as a mix between Tremors 3 and Robot Jox. We can even get a gory ad on the Dashboard if all goes well.
Breads done.

Wombat, I'm not a fan of piracy in any capacity but if you really wanted to play an old Nintendo arcade game just use Mame. Get the 15 mintues or so out of your system and move on. No need to pay the the $5 or so Nintendo would likely charge you for Popeye. I agree though they do have some great old school games and Nintendo should just throw them all up. They'd fit nicely on the 3DS as well. Their whole trickling out of virtual games is annoying.

Whore's Galore has been on Netflix for a long time now... It's interesting, and the last 15 minutes shocked me.

The Time and Eternity talk was entertaining. I like my niche games as much as a few others but even this game might push me to the limits of what I'll play when it comes to JRPGs. It still ended up showing up on my front door though (a earlier pre-order I completely forgot about.) So now I'm expecting a full review Ship!

good show,
Cheapy, I have seen/heard you on twitter with the wireless hdmi comments in the past. the wireless hdmi didn't work for me, signal blows, I used hdmi over ip using a wired home network, so I have my pc on every tv in the house with no latency at 1080p 60hz. i also centrally located my 360 usb gaming adapter in my house using a USB IP hub so the controller will reach any room. You do need ethernet everywhere in your house, preferbly on it's own switch, or you may get dropped frames, (uses multicast and slams your network) detials below, sorry no links, not my fault.
newegg, search LKV373 for the hdmi over ip
video of it in action; search LKV373, first result in youtube
USB over IP - amazon item CT-USB-100-4
do this and you can forget about signal and interference, also you can connect as many receivers as you want.
total investment of about $190 plus $~45 per extra receiver
Let me know if any one has any questions.
ohh, I'm with ship. Wombat seems to be wrong about everything (but i like him anyway). I wasn't surprised that he hung around for the free t-shirt.

Thanks for shouting out what HDMI receivers you've been using. Too bad I'm easily more than 100 feet and behind a wall.
@Wombat: Nintendo is supporting WiiU by releasing Earthbound today. That should keep fanboys calm for at least a month, no?

I couldn't help but find it amusing when Shipwreck said it would be a three hour podcast if he corrected Wombat all the time, and later on in the same episode, CheapyD reads that comment about Shipwreck being condescending.
I thought Pacific Rim was okay. The attempts at humor didn't do anything for me. I'd probably give Time and Eternity a shot for a low price.

30 hours to download Time and Eternity? I saw you mention it's 14 gbs. That sounds ridiculous. I was able to download X-Com, LBP Karting, and Machinarium which totals up to be about 16gbs (IIRC) and they were all downloaded AND installed in 3 1/2 hours.
And to make it worse, sounds like you're not liking the game. That sucks.
