Was driving home today and saw a sign on the local FV store which read: Summer Video Game Sale

So the son and I went and checked it out.

We only just looked in the PS3 section. This is some what they had at $9.99 that I remember:

All are PS3 and probably YMMV:

All the Transformers except the newest one.
Yakuza Dead Souls
Captain America
Crysis II
Dark Souls
Ninja Gaiden 3
Darkness II
House of the Dead
God of War Collection
The Fight
Dead or Alive 5
Dynasty Warriors 7

There were lots more. Will try to update.

Hd lots and lots of Xbox and Wii and DS.

As a former Family Video employee, ( I was there for 3 years), this is extremely ymmv. There are surplus reports that we used to get and it depends on how well some of the games rent. They will likely have some pretty good deals, though. Just the specific titles might not be universal. They also offer a guarantee on used games, but most likely wont include any online passes (though you can check inside the actual cases of them before you bring 'em up, you might get lucky). Also, if you're a customer with a good reputation there, you can likely ask em to knock off a few bucks or something.

Ya I believe they all sell games, but if there's a smaller store, they will be more likely to hold onto their games. It's also very rare if a store sells their last remaining copy. Often what happens is this: let's take the call of duty:black ops for example. They will literally order 16 of them the first day it comes out. As the title becomes less popular, they will sell off any ones that aren't really renting. After a few months they'll try to sell them for 40 or so a piece and it will eventually get lower until they have a sale such as these summer sales. I believe all stores have this summer sale and will try to off their extra stock. As much as I disliked working there, they often treat customers very well. It's worth checking out, I bought a lot of games there as an employee. Go to a bigger store for a greater selection.
