Asda removes Wii U from stores.

Apart from Nintendo's report today (which reported that it only sold 160K units worldwide this quater), Asda has now said that all stores in the UK will no longer sell the Wii U. However, you can order the Wii U online. Also interesting to note that Asda said that they were expanding the space allocated to the 3DS XL and games.

I read about this but didn't read into it. Can't figure out the meaning for it. Maybe a new WiiU model is on the way and will be considerably cheaper?

 
It's more than likely to do with the fact that they couldn't shift the Wii U's enough to turn enough of  a profit to keep them on. I see this happening eventually with the Vita, even though I have one.
