I'm 4 years late, but... I can't beat Jill (RE5)! HELP :)

Hello fellow CAGs. I'm an ex-CAG-aholic but unfortunately haven't had much time to game the last 3-4 years so have been relatively sidelined. I finally moved back to the US and got a bit of free time and decided to dive into Resident Evil 5 (love the series).

I've done everything to Platinum this sucker (with relative ease... most of the game is pretty simple), except for ONE task. I absolutely can't beat Jill on Professional in Chapter 5-3.  Is there anyone who can help me on this or is willing to play with me on Co-Op (PSN: Western_Owl) to help me finish this off? It is driving me insane. I must've tried it >100 times already!

Use flash or flash rounds to stun her get your partner or the computer to grab her. Shoot her in the red jewel with a magnum or pistol, pistol if you are not a good shot as a magnum may kill her if you miss, then pull the jewel . Repeat until it comes off. Let me know how you make out.

I guess my issue is that I'm just not good enough at dodging her after trying to pull it off... I'll just keep trying until I get lucky 7x in a row...

I second the shooting her in the chest. Just make sure you don't shoot her too many times because she can die. As for dodging, that gets very tricky on Professional  since you have to have very quick reflexes. So I would try to do this with a human partner since they can heal you up ASAP in you get hit. Sometimes, the AI isn't quick enough to heal you and or is getting its own ass kicked. Good luck!

You're welcome! I realized using google was far too difficult for you even though there is a wealth of information on this very topic out there. Also, your best bet in finding another person willing to play with you would probably be eharmony. Good luck!

So I figured it out finally on play 200.. Unfortunately when I beat it I had joined another person's game and I didn't get credit for beating the chapter. If anyone is willing to help me please add me on PSN: Western_Owl

I guess you have to be the "main player" to get credit...
