I really thought there would be more Wii U games in there. The Wonderful 101, Rayman Legends, Sonic Lost World, Mario Kart 8, Super Smash Bros., Bayonetta 2. NONE of those?! I mean $6 off two games? Newegg has done better. Wii Fit U doesn't even have a release date!

I don't know about the other ones, but Newegg had a $49.99 preorder price deal for Rayman Legends back in April. Does Newegg only do preorder discounts once for each upcoming game?

It comes out December. Looks like you didn't pay attention much at their Direct eh?

 
I'm sitting here trying to decide if $7 off is a decent enough deal or if I'll wait for something better post-release.

I'm leaning towards waiting.

 
I'm honestly getting concerned about NewEgg and pre-orders for this year's top holiday releases.

Remember 2011 and 2010?  $12 off pre-orders.  Remember the great deal of 2012 - $15 off every pre-order!!  That was great!!

I'm afraid those days may be over.  We'll see in a month or two when NewEgg (usually) starts their pre-ordering specials for October & November video game releases......  :headache:

 
I'm more worried about them shipping out the preorders on time, especially Nintendo's Sunday releases. Game & Wario shipped five days AFTER launch. That is unacceptable, free shipping or no. I'd rather pay the $8 more and get the game on release day versus saving a negligable amount and getting the game ten days late.

 
Wii U - is that still a 'thing?'

Money spent on Enron stock would be a better investment.

Well, most of those games HAVE been featured with a promo code on Newegg already. Right now, I just received Shin Megami Tensei on 3DS for only $41.99 instead of $50. I also have Sonic Lost World, Zelda Link Between Worlds, Smash Bros 4, Yoshi's New Island and Mario & Luigi Dream Team all pre ordered for $5 off, but I missed the Pokémon X/Y promo offer (it was $4 off each game I think). As for Wii U, I got Rayman Legends from Newegg for $51.99, Splinter Cell Blacklist for $51.99, Game & Wario for $31.99, DKC Tropical Freeze for $52.99, I passed up the Pikmin promo offer because I found it cheaper on Amazon Daily Deals, and I'm debating Wii Fit U. Newegg is coming hard with the 3DS promos, but there should be more Wii U offers in the coming months as release dates grow closer, and the megaton of fall-release Wii U games approach their respective launch dates. I check Newegg every day, and I'd advise anyone to do the same. They JUST had Mario Party 3DS listed with a promo code yesterday or the day before. They come quick, and they go quick.
 
I still have my Rayman Legends pre-order for $38 from when it was $12 off the misjudged $50 price point.

Anyway, thanks for the post. Pre-ordered DKCR:TF.
