Is this required for a store pickup or can you order a digital code?
I don't think they'll give you a digital code, it looks to be a physical card that you can either pick up in store or have them ship it to you from an online order.

I'm trying to do the 12 month and it's coming out to $44.99. Any one else getting that? I thought it was $10 off for the 12 month.

Wondering why PSN seems to be consistently more expensive than XBL (based on the deals I see, not MSRP)? Is there additional quantifiable value in PSN?

PS+ offers free games pretty much every month and discounts on games all the time. The free games are actual games you would want to download and play too. I dont know if you have looked into PS+ at all but you should because it is well worth the price even for the PS3.

Perhaps the value of the instant game collection, and the additional PS+ discounts on new releases, and deeper discounts on sales on the PSN.

Edit: Ha, Esternader beat me to it.

Thanks for posting this, I'd probably have missed it. Guess I am in for another year as I just bought a year two days ago since I was expired and got tired of waiting for a deal.

That's a hell of a list. I just wish that all of those games were still available for download rather than just a select group.

Quick question on ps+. If I DL a game and delete it. Can I re download it from my download list even if its no longer offered on ps+?

Discover Cashback 5% makes the 12month subscription deal $38 with $2 Discover Cashback Bonus.

couldn't get this to work.. Do you have to be a premium?
Sign in to your free Reward Zone account, click on Gamers Club tab (no need to be paid Unlocked member), PS Plus offer, click Get coupon, add subscription to cart. You should see the discount once added.

theoretically yes, but i havent tried it yet. Can anyone whos done it confirm it?
Yes, your PS+ games are always in your Download list even after deleting. However, I'm not sure if that's the same case if there's a break in your subscription.

Got enough points from GS to get a free year, but I am still contemplating on picking this up... Lol

To all of those that are saying this is more expensive than XBL consider this:

XBL 12 month is 59.99
PS+ 12 month is 49.99

Regularly the XBL subscription is discounted $20 to 39.99.
PS+ is rarer of a discount and hardly see it dip below $10 off bringing it to 39.99.

So depending on your console preference, subscription costs are roughly the same.

XBL provides a better online community experience, where as PS+ offers (better) free stuff as well as better/more discounts.

I need another year of PS+, of course, but unfortunately short on spending money of late. Need to show restraint and not buy this just because it's a deal. We still have half a year on our sub, so hopefully there's another such deal before time is up. Either way, thanks OP!

with ps4 releasing soon, and requiring ps+ for online multiplayer access. It is almost a must if you plan to get a ps4 at releast, and do any sort of online multiplayer.

And what if I don't plan on getting a PS4 within the next year? Has Sony said anything about whether they'll continue to feature free PS3 games every month for PS+ members after the PS4 launch?
As far as I know, the PS3 will still support PS+ well after the release of the PS4. The service mainly goes by whichever system your account is on.

Don't quote me on it though....

Anyone try pm this deal online or in a store

Yeah, my concern was specifically about whether they'll continue to have free games for PS3. That's really the only reason I'd consider PS+ since I don't do online multiplayer.

Well that goes for both consoles.

I was just talking about this gen as this where you will most likely use it first for.

I can't get this to work.  I can get $5 off but I can't get the full 10.  My rewardzone account is even linked and shows the Gamer's Club on it.  I chatted with a rep and they said to go into the store.  Great, thanks.  I would rather not have to drive all the way over there when I can get it on the website like I should supposed to be able to.  Except I can't.

On Sunday night I tried to get the save $5 on the 3 month but the register wouldn't apply the coupon automatically so I looked up the website on my phone and got the bar code for the coupon but it said duplicate data. Then the manager got a different register into the mode where they can verify your price match and had me login into to my Reward Zone like I was at myrz.com and print the coupon. Then the cashier scanned the coupon and it worked. Today I went back since I got a gift card for trading in some games so I but another 3 month PlayStation Plus Card and I forget to print the coupon before I left for work but this time the register took off the discount automatically.
