I saw this deal on Walmart.com and it's IN STOCK.

If you choose the Wii U Deluxe Set Solution Bundle, you would receive a Wii U 32gb console (the black deluxe version which comes bundled with Nintendoland) along with your choice of Wii U game such as New Super Mario Bros U, and your choice of Wii U accessory such as off-brand Wiimote, all for $20 more than the Wii U Deluxe MSRP. You could choose the Wii U Pro Controller instead of the Nyko Wiimote for an additional $25, giving you the Deluxe Wii U w/Nintendoland + NSMBU + Pro Controller for $395

Alternatively, if you choose the Zombie U Set Solution Bundle (adds $30), you would receive a Wii U 32gb console (the black deluxe version which comes bundled with a digital copy of Nintendoland) along with ZombiU and a Wii U Pro Controller, along with your choice of Wii U game such as New Super Mario Bros U, and your choice of Wii U accessory such as a 2nd Wii U Pro Controller (adds $25), all for $75 more than the Wii U Deluxe MSRP, giving you the Deluxe Wii U w/Nintendoland + ZombiU + NSMBU + 2 Pro Controllers for $424

The ZombiU Set Solution Bundle is the better deal of the two, as you could effectively receive $220 in extras by receiving not one but two Wii U Pro Controllers, Zombie U and New Super Mario Bros U, on top of the Deluxe version console which already comes bundled with Nintendoland, all for $75 more than the price of the Wii U Deluxe. Of course, you could substitute one of the Pro Controllers for a different accessory to save $25, and you could substitute the New Super Mario Bros U game for whichever you choose.

The ZombiU Set Solution Bundle is the better deal of the two, as you could effectively receive $220 in extras by receiving not one but two Wii U Pro Controllers, Zombie U and New Super Mario Bros U, on top of the Deluxe version console which already comes bundled with Nintendoland, all for $50 extra. The additional Pro black controller adds $25, still not terrible for 2 Black Pro controllers and the games but it's still high considering it's $75 extra then base.

Not bad at all.

I think they nerfed it though. You used to be able to get the Pro controller without the $25 charge.
Ah, I didn't see that. You're right, it does add $25 if you choose the Wii U Pro Controller as the accessory. I've edited the post to reflect the correct pricing. But as you said, still not bad if you're considering buying a Wii U.

I've found that 2 Pro Controllers are really a must for fighting games with friends, and NSMBU and ZombiU are games that any Wii U owner should want to buy anyways.

But there are other games to choose from, such as Injustice Gods Among Us, Lego City Undercover, Ninja Gaiden Razor's Edge, Need For Speed Most Wanted U, Assassin's Creed 3, CoD Black Ops 2, Game & Wario, Batman Arkham City Armored Edition, Mass Effect 3, Darksiders 2, Sonic Racing Transformed, Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate and Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Wii U Edition.

However, many of those games can be obtained for pretty big discounts elsewhere- NSMBU, Injustice, Monster Hunter 3 and Lego City Undercover would be the best picks, seeing as all of them still retail for close to $50 on Amazon.com

Getting closer...  more and more tempting.  Almost there, but I'm feeling like all these bundle deals are just heralding in a deeper discount this Christmas shopping season.

Yeah.

Hopefully there is a holiday bundle with 2+ games.

The PS3/360 will almost certainly be $199 again, with 2 or more games. It might be a stretch for a WIi-U Deluxe to be $199 with 2+ games. But honestly, that's more in the ballpark of where it SHOULD be.

The lack of a price drop now is probably bad for the "bottom line" on a Holiday bundle though. They can knock the deluxe down to $299 with 2 games, and that looks like a "great deal" compared to $349 with 1 game. If they had done a price drop earlier in the year, then they would still need to discount and bundle further for the holidays.

I hear ya. Consumers like to save the most $ possible right! But to me, and I thought about this long and hard- I think the amount of fun I'll have with a product between now and whenever a further price drop comes (if one comes at all) is more than worth the extra $50 I'd save, ya know? I ask myself, do I want to give up 6 months of fun just to save an extra $50, and the answer is usually no. Not for consoles anyways. For games, sure, because there are so many of them it adds up to thousands of dollars. That's just me though...
