Quote Pyramids?

Hey,

I've noticed that, unlike other forums that I'm a member of, when you go to quote another member's post that already has a quote in it, that only what was said by the member (and not the quote) gets pasted into the reply box.

On the other forums, the quotes stack and make things called "Quote Pyramids" by members of 1 of those forums.

I'm not knowledgeable about this so:

Do I have to enable something in my account settings to make this happen?

Is it possible using the current CAG forum programming that this could happen?

I'd like any forum Mods knowledgeable on this topic or John the Illusive Programmer to Comment on this.

Yeah, people hated it so we turned it off.

Thanks CheapyD for the answer to my question. I really appreciate the level of activity that you have on the forum, dude!

And for the record, I like (limited) quote trees, but apparently, its just you and me!

I kinda like them too, but I understand why some people find them to be annoying.

Roger That, Cheapy! I can understand that limited ones are probably for the best!

Maybe not for CAG, but for other forums in general.
