Thanks for the post OP. I can confirm that you don't have to preorder X or Y in order to get in on the shinys. Just bring your ds and either black 2 or white 2 and your set.

 
Man, I wish the Skylander bubble would burst already.  Seems like every week now for months there are always Skylander toys taking up ad space at GS, BBY, TRU, etc...

Let us know how it goes. I almost think you'd have more luck PMing in-store since an online rep would probably want to contact a GS store to verify the "price", whereas an in-store employee might be more likely to just PM it on the spot.

That's a good idea... but all of the Best Buys near where I live are all sold out of the PS3 version. All of the GameStops too actually.

I didn't check for Vita but maybe I should now.

Has to be Pokemon Black 2 or White 2?  Can't use Black or White?  Who actually bought B/W 2, anyway?

 
Just got off the phone, she was willing to do the Price Match but had to call GS to confirm price which we all know is a no-go. But thankfully GS is still closed near me so I would need to call back in 30-40 minutes which I am not going to bother with. YMMV but we knew this going into it. You may have better luck in store of course.

You can get them in any/all of the Black or White games according to Nintendo's official press release.

I tried price matching at Frys, but it was a no go. They got confused when they checked online and were going to call Gamestop to check if it was in stock, but eventually figured out it was the price for Sims lol

Oh well, I picked up Fire Emblem Awakening while I was there so it wasn't a complete waste of a trip.
