Anyone know if 100% applys to consoles too?  I have an extra 360 I'm looking to unload and I really don't want game stop credit.

Well, when you put it in all caps, it makes so much more sense. Calm down son.

Look, stop thinking that we don't get it. But semantics and wording mean everything, and I've convinced more than one manager to allow a deal based on BB's wording for particular offers. I'm sure it's worded clearly in the actual advertisement, but this initial thread shows no such clarification. It's a thought, so again - calm down.

Never traded in a game at bestbuy have you? If so you should know how it works, the TiV will be about $22.50, the 100% is what makes it $45. Honoring a deal is a lot different then giving you an inflated trade in amount, it is hard enough to get what they are supposed to give you.

I've traded there multiple times, which is why I was interested in the wording of the deal. Like I said, the deal makes sense given the high trade in value, but I've done this before and gotten a better deal than expected. Just a thought, and apologies for coming across so strongly.

Common sense? Did you read the post? Everything I just said was based on common sense.

And retailers have done dumb things before - look at Target's pricing issue with Tomb Raider this week as an example.

Madden 25 could be worth picking up after all. $45 in trade value, plus the $10 Reward Zone certificate if you preorder essentially makes the game a 5$ grab. Hmmm.....

 
My Kindle has a hard time with quoting posts on cag 3.0, but to answer peoples questions...trade in bonus is for games only, and you can check trade values on best buy.com

 
Aw, I bought Black Ops 2 last Thursday at full price! If only they still gave you a month to price match, I would have gotten $20 back :(

You can earn silver status for $77.35(in fees) on 13 $200 prepaid visas vs $2500 spent just at BB. With that u get the 60 day return/rebuy option when u need it.
The $2500 "hurdle" seems to be the biggest reason people state but by the time you add up all purchases that can be pm'd you can get to silver easily.
 
So your really spending the $2600 in prepaid money on a Visa and an additional 77.35 just to make silver? Seems legit, if I wanted to spread my money across 13 prepaid cards. (Don't they also charge per transaction on said cards too?)
 
The $77.35 is the fees $5.95 per card. I don't need them to reach silver since i pm at Bb vs buying elsewhere but earning rz pts for paying for my car insurance, groceries, clothes, gas(I drive for a living & pay for all my gas $60-$70/day), car repairs is better than nothing. Plus they add up fast which fully pays off my monthly cell phone bill. The money saved via 60 day return/rebuy is well worth it. The only plus with the 15 day return policy is that ever 2 weeks tons of points post.

Another idea is the Amazon Kindle cards they sell which can be used on anything sold by Amazon. I hit silver last year with half products bought at bb rest bought using Amazon credit. It was misleading as the cards wouldn't reflect in my annual balance bar on the reward zone site but, I still received it.

That works too I prefer the visas since it doesn`t lock you into 1 retailer & you can still use it at amazon. However, for those who can`t spend $2500 on recreational spending the visas are the way to go since the total cost is just $77.

Ex. using a basic family of 4
$200 for gas per car
$200 car insurance
$500-$1200 mortgage payment
$400 groceries
$100 cable bill
$120 electric bill
$50 water bill
$100-$175 gas bill
$20-$60 landline phone bill
$175-$250 family cell phone bill
$400 day care/diapers/formula
$200 health/dental/vision insurance
$250-$400 child support
$100-$150 kids allowance
$100 extras starbucks, fast food, 7 eleven

Take what applies & add it up per month you can get to $1000/month easy w/just $29.75 in fees per month & at least $20 back in RZ pts.
 
I know this isn't the right thread, but what happened to the 20 dollar gift certificate for GTA5? Online it says its now in new batch that are down to 10 dollars only! Did I miss the boat?

Anyone know if Playstation Plus subscription cards can be return for a refund at Best Buy? Received one as a gift but I don't need it right now and would rather have the store credit.

Most subscriptions cards can not be returned once bought. You could try to sell to a friend.
 
While not completely related to next week's Best Buy ad, I have two questions related to Best Buy.

1 - I want to pre-order the GTA V PS3 bundle but wanted to know if you have to pay the entire amount or if you can put down a deposit and pay the remaining balance when the bundle releases on September 17th?

2 - Does Best Buy sell Amazon gift cards and if so, what are the amounts available?

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

1. I'm pretty sure you pay a down payment and pay the rest later.

2. YMMV, I've never seen one at my Best Buy, but I've seen plenty of people on here saying they buy them. Its the $15, $25, $50, and $100 amounts I think.

They sell Kindle credit which works on anything Amazon. Every bb should have them in the computer department by tablet accessories. Believe bb only carries $25 & $50 cards.
 
Looking forward to seeing what TIV change in a few hours, since now its 50% bonus but tomorrow will be 100%

Think Im finally gonna trade in TLOU. Haven't played MP in a while and I cant wait for story DLC...
