First one sounds like one of the RockCandy controllers for 360 and PS3.

Based on a google search the 2nd one may be Deadly Premonition Dorector's Cut for PS3.

I think that's what they meant and are just using the word "card" loosely.

I don't know why everyone's always so down on the Roxio - it's not a bad capture card at all.

Like the Elgato, the Roxio is also not a card (although with its boy racer (boy streamer?) case markings, it would be better hidden inside a PC case). It's an external device that will work with a laptop as well as a desktop.

It's hit $80 before, and the MSRP is now $120, so the meh sales of this LD make sense.

 
I am really glad I paid attention to this one. Usually I lose track of the time for these lightning deals.

The one time I was on a waitlist, they gave me a countdown. Like, they'll say what place in line you're in and if you manage to get one, they give you a set amount of time (like 10 min) to check out. But I don't know if they still do this since I haven't done a lightning deal in a long time.

When I joined it, it said I was #61 and had a poor chance of getting it, so I doubt I'll see the countdown, but thanks for the info!

EDIT: Scratch that, I ended up getting it!
